TRANS-CANONICS

A mock-up for the final phase, this is an example that I chose from a part of a tactile panel, which showed how a single material can give a multiple sense and feel, by changing its sides, to an interactor. So, everyone can interact with the actual model/feeling.

This is a pavilion relational map that shows how I extracted elements from each topic and from the original house toward the final phase.

Pictures below the atmospheric are an example of perspective views from people experiencing the space. and the overlay colors indicate the level of feeling inside the space.

So, from the starting point or entrance of the pavilion will give you a very clear and comfortable feeling and once you continue walking deeper, the panels will start giving you a more unclear and uncomfortable feeling because of the complex of the space which created by the unclear combination of materials and patterns and also by the arrangement of panels.

For the second phase, I started to fo the experimental by trying to pick and redesign some of the elements of the house, which replaced them with recollecting materials to see what if the local materials change into the found materials, will they give the same tactility and sensation.

the house used a quite unique technique into space and it creates a sense of seductive, which kind of gives visitors an invitation to touch and experience the house. The materials that were used in the house are from nature and local.

To present the idea of the visual world that replace physical elements, no one does the job better than AR technology. The mock-up models separate into two parts; first, small mock-up that show the layers of items that occur in pavilion included digital data fragments, Pavilion dome, Distractive objects like ads and Privacy layers around people. The second is a 1:1 mock-up model that can replace the site, Siam square, by covering with the whole pavilion from birds eyes view.

Short animation show how pavilions and layers had been formed under some extreme condition, place where people have to choose to sacrifice their privacy for their desire; economic purposed and also for so-called public security.

The diagram shows how internet elements to place in the visual world under cover of the pavilion, the hyper connection between everything, included both intentional and unintentional data with peoples, also with the distract elements like commercial ads, fake news, nonidentical data, etc. all of these things  together, creates a strong point of view on how layers had been constructed for each people in that area.
