Outside of the food aggression that Elias has,is he violent or generally a menace to people,or is he actually kinda chill,once he isn't hungry anymore?

✦ Definitely not asking,because I want to give him chin scritches or anything without being turned into a meatball-

It kinda varies - ~70% of the time just a normal dude with a reputation for being a menace and picking on people. He enjoys getting under people’s skin.

other times he lets himself just be a sea monster and can get very aggressive. This too is part of the “getting under people’s skin” thing he likes to do - if people get to study him, he feels like he should be able to do the same back to them (in his case by being unpredictable and seeing their reactions)

In regards to food tho it is almost a guarantee he gets territorial.

(So that 70% of the time yes you may give him scritches without losing a hand)

NoMoon: *Drops Elias* Behold this giant fish dude who could crush you with his pinkie finger...oh yeah he also caused numerous casualties over food and is an absolute unit.

Me: If not friend why friend shaped? *Proceeds to get cuteness aggression for Elias* I need to squeeze and tear him apart like a marketable plushie /affectionately

This is meant as a compliment by the way,Elias makes me feel like a dog does towards it's favorite chew toy

Does he ever struggle with animalistic instincts or tendencies

Yes lol, it’s a daily occurrence. keep in mind he’s more animal/sea monster than human. I like to think there’s a sign taped to his enclosure warning people to never bring external food near him. He has a bit of a resource guarding problem.

He’s alright for now, he basically lives there for free with a constant supply food and medical care. However he’s deprived of most information, and has been refused any detail on who, what, and where he is. So while he doesn’t mind the living situation, he’s growing a bit desperate to know anything. The constant shut-downs of his questions really get on his nerves

It also doesn’t help that his “caretakers” don’t really treat him like a person.

Is this dude stuck in some sort of facility or is he just loose for enrichment

how tall/long is he

secret third question I just thought of: how does he actually survive? Surely he’d have a big metabolism to go along with the size

A little bit of both!! Bro’s massive so while they can’t necessarily keep him *in* the facility, he’s basically in his own walled-off enclosure underwater, like an aquarium

standing on his legs, ~15 feet or so. I’d guess he’s around ~55-ish feet. He’s big

Mainly large fish and failed experiments (he’s like a garbage disposal), but because his internals are A Mess (tm) he also gets a lot of nutritional supplements for the stuff he can’t digest.

Elias is an absolutely massive guy, made up of some of the largest discovered aquatic creatures known, some of which include Basilosaurus, Jaekelopterus, Prionosuchus, and Allodesmus. He includes some more recent animals as well like a species of wolftrap angler fish.

ya’ll have no idea how eager i’ve been to show you what i’ve been cooking up. literally rubbing my hands together and frothing at the mouth ever since i started making him.

meet Elias!!! My prehistoric mutant goober fish man!! i love prehistoric megafauna so he is absolutely packed with silly silly animals and i will happily yap about him forever. I’ve already written a ton for his character and story so there will absolutely be more (clothes not guaranteed)
