I don’t really know where to start so I’m going to answer the 2 questions people ask:

1. What type of Yandare is she?

I don’t see Hayashi as your standard Yandare who you usually see. I imagine she would would be—What I dub because it had no name—a lockdown Yandare.

A lockdown Yandare is someone who likes to “Lockdown” their person of interest in places of residence usually to prevent them from meeting others, going outside, etc. this can range from just not allowing them to leave to tying them down using rope. 

Hayashi would be such a Yandare because she wants to protect her person from the world. She knows how many terrible people are alive just in Japan alone from her job and she just knows there is people waiting to do awful things to the people she loves….why would she ever want them among those people?!

I also see her being invasive in the way she has all of their passwords and regularly checks their devices just to make sure they aren’t talking to people they shouldn’t be talking too or god-forbid trying to leave her!

2. Does she kill?

Yes! But only in certain circumstances.

Killing too many people can draw a crowd. A crowd she does NOT want anywhere NEAR her person, especially if that risks her being apprehended.

Hayashi only kills if it’s one of the two: 1. They are threatening the safety of her person And 2. They are getting too close to her person.

The main people she DOES end up killing are usually EXs, police, and in Yanagi’s case—fangirls. She HATES fangirls.

- Hayashi has an intense fear of heights. It’s the one thing that truly scares her….This includes Rollorcoasters, planes, balconies past the 3rd floor, and high enough ladders if she thinks about it too much.

-On the flip side, Yanagi is deathly afraid of the ocean, specifically what’s in it. If he can not see the bottom, he will not go in it.

-both of them are working on these fears together.

- Yanagi has stress tics! (not Tourettes! That is something else!) The ones he has make him tense up the muscles in his arms, sides and face (The eyebrows and lower jaw.) He likes to wear full coverage clothing to hide it but is self-conscious about how his face looks sometimes.

- Hayashi’s red hair is completely natural! Everyone thinks it’s dyed because her parents don’t have red hair but if you look back a couple of decades, her ancestors had it. It is later confirmed that it is indeed genetic when all of her and Yanagi’s children come out with red hair.

- The two have matching tattoos of the others name and the date they got married on their ring fingers where their rings would be in case they couldn’t wear their ring.
