A high school classmate tagged everyone in our batch on an old alumni reunion post from 10 years ago that I wasn’t able to attend lol. I had some spare time today, so I checked out several familiar faces — how they’re doing and how they look now lol. Seeing their adult faces gave me a weird feeling about time and how fast it flies.
This is the first time I’ve seen them (at least in pictures) in like 20 years, and it made me realize how quickly time passed. We were teens back then, full of dreams, with no idea of what life was going to be. Some of us did well, some had it rough, some passed away, some had kids, and some don’t (well, me lol).
Looking back on those days made me feel a sense of achievement because I’ve come a long way from my life back then. I don’t know where this rambling is going, but it just made me realize that where I am now, I’m grateful to be.
I’m in my 30s, and life still has so much in store. I still have a lot of time to do things that will make me proud. Maybe another 10–20 years from now, I’ll be doing the same thing — reminiscing about this moment — and hopefully thinking to myself: yeah, I made the most of my life.
