having a quiet life is so.. underrated. i don’t mean it in the sense that people who’re open and loud and busy aren’t important, but when our culture has significantly put so much emphasis on the definition of success as fame, extraordinary accomplishments, greatness and importance and excessive wealth, i think there is so much power to be found in our own anonymity. in the silence of life. in not being constantly perceived, analyzed and performing for the world. in being able to take a walk, smile at strangers and just notice the world without all that noise. taking the biggest pleasure out of the smallest joys, like a cup of coffee or blowing out birthday candles. knowing that our lives don’t have to be a grand spectacle for others in order to have worth and cause a good impact.

straight up the stupidest people on the planet are "logic over emotion" clowns like you fool, youve fallen into the classic trap of believing literally any aspect of the human experience isnt dictated by emotion!

i am either the clingiest person alive or i don’t talk to you for weeks. there is no in between

it doesn’t matter. you will still have fun baking a distastrous looking bread loaf. you will still have fun painting a technically bad painting. you will get happy brain chemicals dancing like a weirdo. be bad on purpose.

Well u know what i want a quiet house on sunday morning and it's sunny outside i will play jazz records and make iced coffee and have eggs and some fruit and there's nothing to do and i'm calm and i have the freedom to go walk to a park near a river and watch people have picnics and feel the gentle breeze of the wind on my face and there are no sleepless nights because i go to bed early and peacefully because i have no worries and i can finally rest well

life would be so different if i was a bookshop owner in a small village near some forest, who has a secret affair with the local poet
