A reminder that you have the option to post-date your Madness fic/art now that reveals have gone live (i.e. change the post-date to today vs. when it was originally posted) so more people can see your work. :D

Thank you to everyone who voted! X-Men Remix Madness 2025 has officially been extended by one week! You can continue posting works until end of day, Wednesday October 22 with author/artist reveals also moving to the 22nd. DON'T FORGET - IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO SIGN UP FOR REMIX MADNESS AND LET OTHERS REMIX YOUR WORK!!! There are no changes to dates for Remix Main; reveals will still happen on Oct. 15th.

X-Men Remix Madness 2025 fics will also go live later today! You can continue posting new fics/art to Madness until author reveals, currently set for next week, Wednesday Oct. 15 for both Collections.

A Note re: post-dating your fic/art: As a general reminder, it is perfectly acceptable and even encouraged for you to post-date your fic/art in both the madness collection and the main collection. Post-dating means that you edit your work to give it today’s date instead of the earlier date it was posted. This allows more people to see your work during the anon period, versus few people outside of the exchange seeing it if it’s buried further back in the tag. All we ask is that you limit post-dating to once during the anon period and once afterward after reveals, so that you are not constantly leapfrogging over the other participants…so if you have not already post-dated, that is an option that is available to you. :)

What is Remix Madness? Madness is a variation of the Main Remix Challenge; instead of remixing an assignment from the Mods you simply remix whatever fic/art you want from the people who’ve signed up to participate! Again, THERE IS NO ASSIGNMENT - you just remix who/what you want.

I want to let people remix my fics for Madness! Simple! Just go to X-Men Remix Madness 2025, first read the rules, and then sign up to participate!

How do I sign up? Go to the Collection homepage and select ‘Prompt Form’ from the left hand menu. Copy and paste and then answer the short list of questions there before clicking submit.

I want to remix other people’s fics - do I have to sign up for Madness too? You only have to sign up for Madness if you want people to remix your fics. You do NOT have to sign up for Madness at all if you only want to remix other people’s work.

I signed up for Remix Main already. Can I also sign up for Remix Madness? Yes! We encourage everyone already in Main to also participate in Madness! The more the merrier!

Can I remix fic/art from other X-Men verses? Yes! In addition to remixing works based on the X-Men Alternate Timeline movie verse, you can also remix works based on the comics, animated series and original movie trilogy etc in Remix Madness.

Any word count minimum? What about art restrictions? No minimum word count and artwork can be sketches!

When can I start filling prompts/posting works? Anytime! Start Now! You can post works from now until Madness officially ends on Oct. 15.
