With all of the recent events, I wanted to share a quote Shinhwa has said plenty of times, in hopes that all fandoms can come to understand this and respect the boundaries between fans and artists. The only person responsible for your life, your happiness, your choices, is you. Idol’s were not placed on this world to work themselves to the bones to preform for you and nothing else, they’re humans and deserve to have a personal life just as much as you do. Fans and idols have a special, unique relationship, there’s no doubt about that, but you need to be mindful of the fact that we are all just fans. Please don’t send mean messages to idols friends, please don’t send vicious hateful messages to idols, please don’t let your emotions get the best of you. No human deserves to feel bad about having a personal life, if you saw your best friend being attacked for these things, you would be up in arms about how unhealthy of a friendship that would be, and how they have no right to tell anyone how to live or who to like. Please treat idols with the same decency and respect you want your best friend to be treated with.
