“I had a bad dream.” Margarethe presses closer, insinuating her slim body against his broad chest, her arms around his shoulders. “I dreamt you were gone and didn’t come back. You’d never do that, Daddy, would you?” Her voice is silky, her eyes nearly shut, lashes flirtatiously lowered. She brushes her lips against him. “You’d never let me go.”
She stirs.
He instantly wakes.
There is no softness about the man who lay in a larger-than-life bed with a woman far too beautiful for the likes of him — an old man – for a decaying G O D. None know it; or so they claim; so they pretend. He thinks otherwise.
When his eyes open they are alert and aware.
Large arms instantly enclose around her small frame as if preventing her from escaping if she were to try. His exhale his heavy and her body moves in unison with his as he revels in the sensation that is his Sweet Poison. ‘It’s good to be a GOD,’ his mind whispers and cracked-ice eyes take in the beauty before him as he looks down his nose. Such beauty should not exist…
With slow motions he brings a hand beneath her chin, tilting her face ever so slightly up so he can better look upon her fair beauty. A rough and calloused thumb runs along her lower lip absentmindedly as he stares down at her but he does not speak. Not yet. He feeds off the lingering fear from her nightmare that settled deep in her bright eyes; it’s quite intoxicating.
“You’re my good girl, aren’t you?”
