โNot as loony but still loony. Maybe geniuses have to be loony though I didnโt know she had asked you,โ he said impressed. Having McGonagall personally ask for you to take over her position was a high honor and not one to be taken lightly. Heโd underestimated Seamus, even after knowing heโd made it through Hit Wizard training and had transferred into the field of Quidditch. Next thing Terry knew Seamus would be telling him heโd made a second Philosopherโs Stone. Honestly, at this rate it wouldnโt surprise him.
All of this was increasing Terryโs interest, making him almost want to pick apart Seamusโ brain. Maybe if they werenโt old friends he would have but Terry figured Seamus wasnโt in the mood to do that right now and he would respect that. Plus Terry had learned that most didnโt like having long-winded conversations on how they thought about things and why they made their decisions.ย They were here for drinks and maybe some light catching up. He was actually having a lot of fun right now joking along with Finnigan.ย โJust some friendly hospitality, wouldnโt want anyone to get jealous.โ Though he wasnโt close enough to know if Seamus had anyone special in his life.ย โI can make house calls if youโre fine with a Healer thatโs only half-trained with some medic knowledge on the side. Can even call over George and Dean to kiss your injuries for you.โ Heโd taken care of enough beaterโs to know they could garner some nasty injuries, maybe not as bad as chasers but still bad. He wouldnโt be advanced enough to heal them completely but he could still help a little.
There was a small smirk that formed on his face when he heard what Terry had to say, completely glossing over the fact that he was still calling him loony.ย โSo you think Iโm a genius, huh? Maybe I should have been a Ravenclaw, but then I might not have Dean around all the time,โ he spoke after taking another sip of his beer. In all actuality he does not think heโs rather as gifted as the other seems to be making him out to be. Thereโs certain things that he excels in like many and others that he lacked in, but he tried not to really reflect on that itself. He felt he was decent enough at potions, but under pressure of the very judgmental eyes of his former professor was enough to make him fuck up every so often.
It felt way too easy talking with the former Ravenclaw, and honestly he enjoyed it more than anything. Seamus loved the conversation since itโs not everyday that he met up with old friends from school out and about in the Muggle parts of the UK.ย โWho do you think might be jealous if someone were sweet on me?โ It was a serious question, though did he think that perhaps he was seeing someone or fancied someone else at this point? The answer for latter is rather obvious if one thinks about it, but then again Seamus hoped it wasnโt as plain as day.ย โYou know, I wouldnโt mind. Just donโt try to mend my bones with that shit charm Lockhart did with Harry our second year,โ he started to bust out with laughter just thinking about the ordeal. Truthfully it was bad when it happened but then again learning he was a fraud was probably the best part about the year, even if he was rather attractive. Though it was the part of Terry saying that heโd have George or Dean kissing his injuries that made him raise his eyebrows. Maybe he knows heโs gay...or pining after his best friend, but how?ย โW-Why the two of them? I mean Hermione or Parvati could kiss them too, yโknow.โ
