★✰ Nightmare stood still, lost in thoughts. Emo could tell, by the way the huge cat's bright green eyes shone, that what he was recalling a hurtful memory.
Silent seconds passed, that felt interminable.
The small cat guessed Nightmare was taking his time, choosing carefully his words, debating whether to confide on her or not something clearly meaningful to him. Yet the dark cat wished she could have already mastered her powers at will, just like Nightmare did, and remember along with him. Her anxious nature expected the worst outcome and the heavy atmosphere the waiting had caused made her worries run free.
After all, just like her, it wasn't the first time he had stained his paws in warm blood. What could be expected from someone like them?
"Alright... I'll tell you my goal, Emo. I've been searching for my friend. I want to find Amber." ✰★

In "Awaken: The Lost Dreamer" Amber is an absent character. She is supposed to be there but has gone missing and nobody knows why or when will she come back.
Previously, she found Nightmare in REM (the "Dream World") when he was at his lowest. She helped him change his ways and learn to trust others again. They traveled for some time together. One day, Amber told Nightmare things were about to change and indirectly told him she won't be here for long. And then, she was gone, leaving her pendant behind.
She was Nightmare first true friend and he's on a quest to find her (with Emo's help).
Unfortunately soon he'll realize his friend left many things untold...

Well.. Amber is my first warrior cats oc I made along with Nightmare ;w;
She's a huge piece in my story. But I haven't talked about her a lot because the first book "Face your Nightmares" (cover here) focuses on Emo and Nightmare and their backstories. And because of that I was trying to make references for the characters that appear more on this book (like Nightmare's direct family) but... with art fight coming I couldn't resist ue.e
As I've said, she's like the "Redtail" of my story. XD
But her presence is strong, especially on the second book "Mechanical Thinking", in which one of my favourite characters on the story makes her first appearance: Robotica. Her goal is also to find Amber, but in her case to make her suffer badly.
There's also huge characters on the story I wished I could have introduced already to you like Kaito or Benjamin but it will have to wait... TTwTT
