i think you are completely right about story 8 and its hard to enjoy these stories with that background knowledge
Honestly it's kinda hard to put my thoughts togheter on Story 9, it's a project that's been planned for almost a decade and well, it was going to become a real thing at some point.
My major problem here is that this will bring back a horge of Yupia fans and fanart, just like how it happened w barthimo but I mean it's just a character right? Yes, buuut the big difference here is that Xtreme used the popularity of Yupia to get closer to him younger fans, his prime target. It surely doesn't sound good at all right? But too bad, that's character is gonna become the top tier most popular rhg of the year once the teaser is released. And I don't wanna see anyone telling me to "separate the character from the creator" cus it's like separating the mascot of a cereal brand from it's own company, you could say they're not related anymore BUT you still think of the company when you see the mascot.
I don't think GG will do justice by writing the character the same way he did with Mar, I really doubt he'll mention what Xtreme did because this is kind of. A very fragile theme that involved a serious case of pedophillia and grooming that used to be ignored for a long time, with no one really caring at about what this guy did until now. Well I'm not 100% part of the dojo anymore I'm more like the guy who stares from distance and doesn't speak a word.
