Hijackers or not, once the mission is done, it’s time to turn to their personal lives. Which is– of course– is each other. With Key dating the ever so chirpy and lively dancer Alex, there’s always a new place to go and a new experience with them. And one of the very fond memories that Luke and Violet share is going to a color festival. Of course at the beginning it wasn’t very fond.  After all, Luke and Vi fought the entire way and took it out on each other by smearing– or slapping color on each other. They weren’t nicknamed Bonnie & Clyde for nothing. You see Alex and Key made a pact and swore they’ll take these two down. And since they go together or they don’t go down at all, Alex and Key were drenched in a matter of minutes, and Luke & Vi were all over each other in a matter of seconds.

“Yeah, I usually get my ideas from Osprey. He’s the only one–imaginative enough.” Upon his attentive wordplay, he couldn’t help but chuckle.  On the other hand, a youthful spark ignited enthusiasm in his eyes the second Luke’s curiosity struck the atmosphere. And almost immediately, Arrow started wandering the room to pick out favourites. “Well I’ve got cigarette blades, a pyro gun for Blaze, a pyro sword for Blaze–uh, I’ve got a phone that automatically damages your nerves, headphones that hypnotizes–still under construction–mini-gun watches, adjusted with laser & a small button for gas bombs. That watch you almost touched was nuclear, by the way. Osprey’s favourite was this small, chameleon airplane toy; pretty accurate bullet shooter, as well. Uh–I don’t know, there’s a lot.”

Luke nodded, impressed, as the kid walked around his museum of weapons, explaining each and every weapon with the same excitement that you see in a teenage girl as she talk to you about her celebrity crush. Kind of like Key with cars. Kind of like Blaze with fire. Kind of like Alice with poison. “Wow, you really are just as wacky as Blaze described you. Almost insane. I like that.” He said. “Got anything for hackers?”

A roll of his eyes was enough of a reply in return for Luke’s comeback. Mostly because he was too busy trying to think of an estimable price, considering it was a guaranteed win. “Tell you what, if you win, you get to choose any car of your liking to claim as yours, but if I win–” A falsely apathetic shrug rolled off his shoulders. “Well, frankly, Evans–I don’t think you’ve got anything worth taking. So I’m gonna let you give me your best offer.”

“I hope you realize she is going to hate our fucking guts once she realizes we’ve known all along that Luke’s back and haven’t had the audacity to inform her. I just–after we’ve seen her embrace her inner, demented riot and become nothing but the collateral damage of disaster because he left–and just now she’s cooled down, comparing to how she used to be–don’t you think his ‘coming back’ is going to fuck her up entirely once more? especially since, you know, he hasn’t actually made an attempt to ask about her, either.”

“Because, my dear Alice, Osprey was sick of waiting for the turkey to melt–and so, we decided bowling with it was going to help un-freeze it. And before you ask, yes, we’re cooking dinner tonight; Osprey’s feeling a spontaneous Thanksgiving without it being Thanksgiving.”

“I can’t decide what’s more disgusting. Eating a turkey you used as a bowling ball, or Osprey’s cooking. At least tell me Dusk is making that great pumpkin pie she makes.” 

“Yeah, but–something about him is really off this time. He’s hiding something. I’ve only seen him act this counterfeit once, and it was when that whole Kaya thing happened. Did something happen with California?”

“Don’t know, I haven’t seen her in a while. Been busy with Key. In related news, where have you been?”
