Everyone always talked about how strong she was. How she held her composure better than anyone else they know. That the strength of that girl was the same as 20 lions, but me.. I think she was weak. It’s ironic they say she “holds her composure well” because that isn’t the case at all. They left out the part of the story where she avoids every real problem she’s ever had. She’s not strong because she won’t talk about it, she’s weak because she can’t. She drowns out the noise with bottles until her liver is begging her for mercy, shes tried so many pills her brain thinks she needs them. Anything to fight the numb feeling, anything to forget.. or remember. She couldn’t decide which one she needed more. She won’t cling to anyone, because she’s so damn scared of being left again. She was so scared of being left, that she spent everyday alone. Maybe that was it, maybe she lived her entire life in fear. Maybe this life had her so scared that she couldn’t take it anymore. Or maybe she wasn’t as strong as everyone thought she was.
