He had a feeling            that Sharon Carter was never going to be impressed            by a burger— He hadn’t figured out the standards she            had set for the “world’s best" yet. He took a bite of his own,

      Despite her complaints, she continued eating       —Sharon was hungry, and beggars couldn't be       choosers, though she still wanted to give her       burger a good piece of her mind.  World's best       burger.  It was average at best—and that was       just her being nice about it.  She would find her      damn world's best burger someday, but it just      wouldn't be tonight.  She looked up and smiled.

          Steve didn’t bother to argue with her and           took off as soon as she was comfortable           on the back of his bike. He took her to an           upscale burger joint in the middle of Manhattan—           One of those places that claimed they served           the best burger in the world.

      Sharon was trying--and failing miserably--       to hide the sheer unbridled excitement and       anticipation on her face.  Steve remembered.       It didn't matter if the burgers weren't the best       now.  (It still mattered.)  But bringing her here       at all brought a smile to her face.

          ❝ Steve Rogers.  If you're trying to get lucky           tonight, it's working-- ❞
