“a warrior fights for his family”

Noah was startled a little by the sound and sight of his uncle. “K…” he stated. “I…was in a car accident… there was a family in the other car… they say I am the sole survivor… and that they don’t know how I survived..” he stated to the Male.

“I’m always on our families side. Though if you fight with daddy, I may have to side with him.” Maddie jokingly warned.

“Ah, but that’s the fun part of having siblings, fighting with them.” 

Klaus had been thinking a lot about wanting to just get away for a bit with Caroline. After their last conversation he started looking up hotels and flights. Whatever they were, it was too new to explore it here. He had once offered to show her the world, and he still intended to do so, but for now he’d start with Paris. He canceled his classes for the week and packed a bag. He had sent her a note along with flowers and her ticket a few days before they were scheduled to leave. When the day came he went to her house to pick her up for the airport.

“I could go for a break, maybe we should take a few days away from prying eyes just to slip away.” Caroline mulled over the idea as she laughed softly. “I don’t know the big bad wolf still fits.” She teased back and nudged him with her shoulder. “That makes two of us, I just… feel happy around you Klaus.” 

Perhaps he should plan a little get away for the two of them. Since whatever this was was all so new it might be nice to spend time out without the whispered of those around them. Maybe he’d surprise her with two tickets out of here. “Well, of course. I’ll always be the big bad wolf.” He grinned at her. His eyes glanced around for a second to see if anyone was nearby before leaning down and placing a kiss on her cheek. 

Maddie looked at her uncle for a moment before nodding her head slowly. “Only you Uncle Nik. Only you. Though I guess you’re quite right, then again you’ve never followed anyone else’s path.” She smirked. 

“Guess you could say I’m sort of a lone wolf.” He said with a little grin. Though it was true Klaus was never one to follow a leader.

Nova smiled at her father for a minute and followed him. “It is what I want to do,” she was glad just to spend some quality time with her dad. “We can walk daddy enjoy the air.”

“I…,” She started to speak but the words didn’t come.  She was thinking about the last thing she remembered.  Her boyfriend, he was yelling at her.  Telling her that there was no way he would allow her to break up with him.  Then she looked over to her uncle.  All she could see was her uncle killing him.  She wasn’t sure she wanted that to happen.  Her breath caught in her throat for a second.  "I was going to break up with my boyfriend.“

Klaus raised his eyebrows slightly when she mentioned her boyfriend. He didn’t even have half of the story yet, but he could feel himself growing angry. “You can tell me, sweetheart.” Klaus had to keep his anger at bay for now, for her.

“Absolutely.” Elijah could use some time away from work. “Please tell me you haven’t caused some sort of massacre or something.” 

Klaus rolles his eyes at his brother. “No, no nothing like that. I want to talk about Camille, and our separation, and... Caroline.” The hybrid gave his brother a little look. She was the one girl Klaus never could seem to shake and Elijah knew that. He wondered how his brother would feel about all of that.

“I suppose it’s a good thing we can explore.” Her and Klaus shared similar traits, she explored the world sometimes when she was tracking down ways to stop her girls from merging but it had been lonely and she hadn’t stopped to enjoy the sights she was seeing. “Good because I don’t have a label to give you right now Klaus. I enjoy our time, I want to spend more time with you.” But she was still healing, still dealing and they both still were attached to their spouses. 

Klaus nodded. “Whenever you’d want. I can always compel us the best flight out of town.” He grinned. “Hm, you not having a label for me right now? Now that’s shocking.” He teased her. “I want to spend more time with you too.” He agreed.

“I’m about ten seconds away from ripping out his vocal chords,” Before the officer had time to call her on the threat, Hayley faced him – “Forget I said that.” She compels before looking back to Klaus. “A little kid I was watching over went missing, the officer was just leaving to look for him.”

“Losing kids now are you?” He asked her in a teasing tone. “Maybe you should go compel a few others to help look?”

Maddie thought about what he said for a moment before nodding. “I guess you’re right Uncle Niklaus. That would make you very special.” She chuckled. “You really just want to be the special one, don’t you?”

“Ah, no fun in being like everyone else.” He pointed out.
