    A SHRUG was given, “i want to say the edm gave me all i needed to know. you can’t have weak movements with such powerful beats.” she spoke nonchalantly, the knowledge she was able to gain over her years of a dancer never seemed to prove her wrong - all she has to do is listen to the music. with legacy’s own style and concepts, the mixture of dance genres was enough to keep fei on her toes for a while and she loved it, but also doing covers of the male groups in solar kept her movements sharp; just what she wanted. “oh? now i feel even more special, getting to hear a working demo before the fans, even before any other artist maybe?” quirking an eyebrow up as she settled on the floor, much sooner than she planned but…oh well. “who could miss such strong beats though, i heard it down the hall before i could turn.”

an idol that was known for taking on the burdens of others, mirae rarely opened up to anyone and when she did, she felt guilty for what she was saying. the woman had peaked and was now on her way down at an accelerating rate. she wasn’t taking care of herself and now it seemed that she was running from social interaction - she just couldn’t take it anymore. “thank you.” nodding towards him, she walked over to the other side of the room and sat down. exhaustion evident on her face, she sighed. “it’s difficult when so many people look up to you.” that had always been a problem of her’s. she put unnecessary pressure on herself to be the perfect role model, to be the one that was there for everyone even if they didn’t want her help and it was starting to get her in bother. the more she tried, the worst situations got. “i know, i know.”

––––––「   “   this is ridiculous,   ”   dahyung sighed to herself, flopping down onto one of the couches in the company’s front lobby. she wasn’t normally one for choosing to surround herself with strangers  ( or complaining, for that matter )  but at this point, she was running out of any other ideas.   “   i debuted over a year ago, why do i need to start coming up with new special talents ?   ”   even before she was a trainee, dani had never understood the appeal of showing off obscure things to do on camera, especially when the point was to promote music anyway.    “   i’ll do any choreography twice as fast if it means i don’t have to do any more weird stuff on variety shows.   ”   」

taebin blinks at him, before a short laugh leaves his lips. “i think they know that i speak korean already though. you got a little bit lucky in that you could use that. i’ve never left korea, so they already know i’m fluent.” he rummages around in his backpack for his water bottle, taking it out and gulping down a mouthful. his head tilts when xan says his lofty nickname, before giggling softly. “yeah… i’ve only been here six months, so i’m still pretty new i guess. i’m taebin!” he smiles brightly, still feeling a little awkward and out of place. 

   IT’S BEEN a tiring few days  —  few years,  more accurately,  but the past few days are all she’s counting right now.  she’s restless,  wants another comeback,  wants to do something that isn’t waiting.  rose had years of waiting for debut ; now that she’s gotten that,  she wants constant promo,  it seems.   “i want,”   she plops on the ground of the practice room,  letting her back hit the floor in a quick motion,   “to be doing something.”   running herself ragged with practice is probably not the answer to her problem,  but there she is.   “i know i get…”   her hand raises and makes a motion  —  weird,  is what she’s worldessly saying  —  “but at least it was for a purpose.”

                      there  was  nothing  more  cringe  to  minseok  than  being  forced  to  do  sexy  choreography , and  that  included  the  awkward  fan - service  they  did  from  time  to  time .    ‘    fuck  your  sexy  dance  bullshit  !  if  i  have  to  do  one  more  hip - thrust , my  dick  will  rotten  and  fall  off .    ’  now ,  minseok  was  just  being  dramatic ,  but  when  was  he  not  ?  humming ,  minseok  thought  about  the  millions  of  possibilities  of  having  a  youtube  channel ,  and  it  had  always  been  his  dream  to  be  a  twitch  streaming  along  his  idolatry .    ‘    asmr  is  hot ,  and  you  got  the  voice  for  it , but .  .  .   ’  he  began ,  sounding  awfully  dramatic  with  his  voice ,  hand  gestures  being  used  for  emphasis .  ‘  .   .   .  your  voice  is  too  distinctive .  we  would  be  caught  directly .  it  would  take  one  second  for  our  fans  to  find  that  shit .  they ‘ re  motherfuckin ‘   sherlock  holmes , man   !   ’

taebin peeks around the corner, black hair messy as he quietly steps into the room. “sorry..” he apologizes quickly, setting his backpack down. “i just… all the other rooms were full, so…” why must he be so awkward all of the time. “i’m still not quite used to the practice room rules yet…” he blinks a few times, tilting his head to try and figure out who is on the floor. “you’re…xan? from kdi?” he shuffles his feet awkwardly, ruffling his already messy hair. 

MINSEOK: man what if i wake up by our manager Eat Ass standing over my bed telling me to pack my bags because i posted my junk on the official ig account

Aidan had knocked first. One of the few times in her life where she felt the need to be polite. The knocks didn’t seem to be heard over the music and the patience that she was practicing had worn thin. So, she pushed through, seeing the boy pick himself up, looking tired and breathing hard. “You feeling alright?” Aidan asked, looking over the boy carefully. Sweat was pooled at his brow and he seemed a little disheveled. Perhaps a nap. Idols and trainees hid just about anywhere so they could get some sort of rest, and Aidan wouldn’t blame him. But, she had to use the practice room, too. Afterall, Legacy was going to be the next big act under So!ar. It was her destiny after following C2 for so long.

being a main dancer for mxs definitely came with its perks, and one of moony’s favorites were getting to help the other members with the choreography. there was something about helping someone get to the point where the dancing didn’t seem like a chore, didn’t seem like something they had to think about. moonsil enjoyed that to no end, but to get to that point, he had to know the dance inside and out. he poked his head in at the sound of xan’s voice, giving him a bewildered look. “are you sure? i can wait as long as you need me to. i don’t mind.”

ruby was on a tight schedule, and sitting around while waiting for xan to do …  whatever it was he was doing wasn’t lending itself well to her dashing in and out on time to make one of her many, many meetings. she decided to just go in, realizing her getting in her own practice time was much more important than xan floating around in his own little dreamworld. still, he could be in a state of undress or something equally as unappealing ( did she really want to see him like that? no. no she didn’t. ) “i’m sure i could come in, but the real question is, do i want to see whatever is going on?” ruby called out before pushing through but making sure that she was covering her eyes. “what’s been taking you so long, anyways? coming up with more jokes that no one finds funny?”

    THE SUDDEN silence of the room made fei feel weird, so used to the loudspeakers blasting whatever song was being played on someone’s phone. she never sat in silence or even had anyone else in the room with her, so this was weird, but a nice change of pace. “with the way that song sounded, seems like you have some difficult moves to learn. maybe that’s why you look like a wet puppy.” laughing at her own joke. she had a sharp ear, if it’s edm, someone is bound to work up a good sweat and even better work out to master quick steps. “did i just witness a little spoiler to a new song or was my ears deceiving me? i’ve been trying to keep up with everyone’s music lately, so i hope i didn’t miss any teasers.” giving xan a soft smile, fingers running through black locks. 

     the woman didn’t have much to practice for but being in the practice room made her feel like there was still hope. mirae wasn’t most comfortable in them as she had endured so much in them but she felt like she was achieving something when in one. so!ar had worked her too hard to the point where she was made physically ill and she had to carry on anyway. that had lead to other problems for the veteran idol, ones that were very much on her mind to this day. in truth, she just wanted somewhere to sit away from everyone else. “please, don’t rush yourself.” mirae held her hands up in surrender as she walked into the room. “do you mind if i sit in the corner for a bit? the younger ones are a tad excited and i’d really appreciate a short break from them.” it sounded awful but she was exhausted, she looked gaunt and having to constantly entertain the younger idols was making things worse. “please don’t repeat that, i’ve just realised how horrible that sounds.” she wasn’t able to win - if she did something for herself, the woman felt like she was being horrible and selfish.
