i didn't expect that there would be people intrested in qgraf x qmulti ship so here as a present have my wip of almost all the headcanons i have for them. also this was written right after the chip scene and not updated since so some stuff could be deleted from this wip in the future. have fun or smth
Multilingual (q!gr4f x q!mu1ti) headcanons:
Multi is selective mute, he sometimes uses sign language with Graf or when he is really tired they write little notes to each other (tho mainly Graf writes them)
They are both pedantic and have ocd but in different ways, multi needs to clean himself and everything around him all the time whereas graf needs to tidy up everything (his eq for example) and his builds need to be perfect
Multi only goes out on a few days bc he is chronically ill, he can only do one big thing a day and usually focuses all his energy into the reactor he also has a fucked up sleep schedule so that is also often a problem
Multi is a scientist, whereas graf is not only a polyglot but also polish cave biggest handyman (architect, builder, engineer, problem fixer and a spy)
Multi is asocial and graf is the most social person you could have ever met
Multi is a human or a vampire (tho i personally prefer just an extremely weird human) but graf is some kind of a hybrid (idk if its ryĹ›/linx or smth else i like him with horns too)
Both of them all also on neurodivergent spectrum
I think that polska hussaria as a whole is some kind of open polycule, but multi and graf are somewhere on an ace spectrum
graf is higher than multi but the difference is like 5 cm (but they are both considered tall)
multi is blind as a bat but refuses to wear any glasses (the only wyjÄ…tek is when he is working) bc it doesnt fit his drip, but graf has really good eyesight (and it improves when his eyes are yellow)
They are like a queerplatonic something but no one really knows if they are actually together or not, but they behave like an old married couple and work like a well oiled machine almost as if reading each other minds
They don't tell each other that they like themselves but they show it through acts of service and etc
Graf is a literal embodiment of his meme (graf wiesz? wiem) so he also helps out multi in the reactor a lot (doing physics/math equations, repairing stuff, writing emails and taking care of legal stuff), ofc its not his expertise but even small tasks get a lot of workload from multi so he can focus on more necessary things
Graf has an extremely calm and focused presence, so just being around him is really grounding to multi especially as bc of radiation his mental health starts to deteriorate
At the start polska husariia is united and loyal to each other but as the radiation and new friendships form other factions are slowly impacting them the distrust starts between them. Multi grows the most suspicious of others really quickly bc his mental health is not the best due to the appearing hallucinations and panic attacks
Multi starts suspecting graf as he stops coming back to the cave as often as he did before bc at the start they set up a schedule and now graf wasn't following it anymore (actually all hussars share the bed but graf was a centre point of it bc of his grounding presence that helped the others sleep)
Graf at the start becomes a spy to mostly benefit polska hussaria but as he starts to know people from other factions he slowly realises that he starts liking them a lot and actually doesn't want to bring them any real harm (miecz obusieczny) he also slowly realizes that multi is losing control over himself but he still trusts him that's why he doesn't really go against him even if his consciousness is telling him do to something about it
Extremely emotional moment for both of them when they finally are being honest and tell the truth to one another
peak moment: “żałuję że nie powiedziałem im więcej o reaktorze”, graf is not only betraying and stabbing multi with those words but he is also finally being honest to himself too and then getting the answear “cieszę się że chociaż raz jesteś ze mną szczery”. toxic doomed yaoi. yeah that's it
“naprawię cię”, “stary dobry graf”, “nie graf zdrajca tylko idealna wersja grafa, którą znamy i kochamy”
The installation of the chip makes him black out and lose consciousness for some time, after he wakes up dizzy with not only his head (especially neck) hurting but also he feels really weak and can barely stand up. But also when he wakes up in the chair again multi is standing behind him cradling his head (which actually makes the pain even worse bc of the pressure)
he doesn't remember what happened in the room, but also to him his memory feels complete (at this point he doesn't know yet that some pieces don't fit together as they should)
multi explains to him that his head hurts bc when he was “repairing” the machine he hit his head
it feels right/correct to do the things multi ask of him, it makes graf smile. he also at first doesnt have any feelings towards federation but because multi steers him to see them in a positive light thats what his feelings became too
For a few day, grafs neck itches but multi didnt allow him to touch it so even if its extremely uncomfortable for him he just suffers it and cannot do anything because even things that were previously normal to him are not anymore if multi didnt agree to it
Graf now spends more time in the polish cave, for some reason he feels really good when he is close to the reactor and multi. now when he tries to venture out he feels as if something isnt right
