HIGHER BEING OC

They lead a people on the surface. I'm thinking their story would be them running into "the behemoths" (humans) and their machines, ending up with their land terraformed and this critter launched into a crack into the deeper parts of the world where the underground bugs live. They crack their head so hard in the fall that they get amnesia and forget they were even a god.

They had power over wind and a little bit of weather. I might make them an enemy that is some sort of lightning deity...

So what if the Hollow Knight actually managed to kill the Radiance after like-- 10-20 bug years? Like while Hallownest is still not completely dead yet but people thought it was genuinely over until the infection started dying off like five seconds ago.

An AU crawled into my brain where Hallownest is in a whole futuristic, mystical cyberpunk/technopunk era and PK is a whooole tech nerd, tech GENIUS. Like it's gotten to a point where the bugs have evolved to be semi reliant on technology to FUNCTION, might make that connected to the masks. Radiance still is a mystical mind creature but learned how to navigate the mask network and is taking people down that way. All the vessels are void yes but also tech critters instead of being a live egg dunked in the Void Juice™. He still tosses his failed models into the Abyss because either the void overtakes the model or the algorithms produce responses that will result in something the Radiance can control.

I'm thinking that the void might actually power the discarded vessels enough to absorb their code, all of that short running info piling up to make one massive system that runs it all at once. THAT is the shades. And the moment they're given connection to the White Palace's network, IT. IS. OVER. At least that's what PK is thinking when he seals it. Anyway yeah Pure Vessel develops a mind as per the story usually goes.

OOOOHH THE BLACK EGG COULD BE A GIANT SIGNAL BREAKING DEVICE, OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT... I'm not super good at tech idk.
