FIVE REASONS TO NEVER EAT FISH AGAIN!
Watch the video to learn why they should be left in the ocean.
And then go to veganuary.com to find out how you can eat more kindly for the animals, the planet and your own health.
FOR A BETTER WAY OF EATING
Great work by Ronnie, who has been busy doordropping Veganuary leaflets in the Husum Way area of Kidderminster.
You can find out more about a more compassionate way of eating at veganuary.com
GREAT LETTERS IN OUR LOCAL PAPER
Some very good letters in the Kidderminster Shuttle over the past few months, promoting veganism and opposing loud fireworks and the sale of fur.
Good to see The Vegan Society's website at vegansociety.com/why-go-vegan mentioned in two of them.
SEE CHICKENS DIFFERENTLY.....

OUR AUTUMN STALLS
Many thanks to Ronnie, who ran half a dozen WFV stalls promoting veganism at various events this past autumn.
Lots of info given to members of the public promoting veganism.
Stalls at community events are a great way of doing vegan outreach.
Please message us if you'd like help and advice on how to do something similar in your own area.
GREAT LETTERS IN OUR LOCAL PAPER!
Well done to those WFV members who've had letters published in the Kidderminster Shuttle over the past few months. Two promoting veganism, one in support of charities that fund non-animal research and the other encouraging people not to fund horse racing.
Especially good that the letters include web links where readers can get more info.
Local papers are still read by thousands of people, so well worth sending letters promoting veganism/animal rights to yours!

A SUMMER OF STALLS
Thanks so much to Ronnie (and Nick and Jude) who ran six stalls for WFV at various events this summer.
Lots of info given to members of the public promoting veganism.
Stalls at community events are a great way of doing vegan outreach.
Please message us if you'd like help and advice on how to do something similar in your own area.
Well done to Louise and Ronnie and other WFV members who recently took part in a march in Bewdley, one of our nearest towns, in protest against the pollution of the River Severn.
Of course, the major victims of this human-caused pollution are fishes and other non-human animals, which is why we were very happy to support the march, which was attended by 250+ people.
However, we were disappointed that no mention was made of animal farming being the number one cause of river pollution.
But pleased that a member of our vegan group subsequently had a letter published in the local paper pointing this out and promoting the adoption of a vegan diet as the solution.
For more info, see animalaid.org.uk/world-rivers-day
Well done to Ronnie for running our stall at the eco-themed Family Festival of Food and Fashion at the Old Court in Kidderminster earlier this month, where he gave out lots of info to members of the public to encourage them to become vegan.
The Festival was one of the main features of June's SustFest Wyre Forest, with WFV holding stalls at four of the events.
Being involved with the environmentalist community in our area provides great opportunities to promote veganism because of the huge benefits to the planet of humans adopting a vegan diet (see vegannow.uk).
It's also important to remember that adverse human impact on the natural world causes an immense amount of death and suffering to our fellow animals, so that concern for the environment is an essential part of being vegan.
Vegan outreach doesn’t just have to happen in the street. It can take place at community events like this as well!

WRONGFULNESS OF FISHING
Great letter by WFV Coordinator Ronnie Lee in a recent edition of our local paper (Kidderminster Shuttle), highlighting the wrongfulness of fishing, encouraging readers to become vegan and directing them to the Vegan Society's website at vegansociety.com/go-vegan
Very good letter in the Kidderminster Shuttle about the plight of lambs and how farmed animals are killed at a very young age.
And great to see the link to the Viva! website at viva.org.uk/save-a-baby
Well done to the vegan activists from Wyre Forest and Bromsgrove who staged a We The Free movie challenge event in Kidderminster just recently to promote veganism.
Members of the public were encouraged to watch a 3 minute video showing the reality of what happens to farmed animals and then politely engaged in conversation about the importance of becoming vegan.
19 people watched the video and there were some very positive discussions, with quite a few showing interest in becoming vegan.
Anyone interested in taking part in We The Free actions can find out more by visiting the WTF website at www.activism.wtf
VEGANISM FOR THE PLANET
Many thanks to Ronnie and Jez for running our stall at the recent Greener Living Fair at Wribbenhall Community Centre (Bewdley).

HUMANE RESEARCH CHARITIES PROMOTED
Very good letter in a recent edition of the Kidderminster Shuttle promoting charities that fund research without using animals.
And great that the Animal Aid website (at animalaid.org.uk/health-charities) has been mentioned, as people can learn about veganism there as well.
