Heard something funny at work today. I was working in the shoe department, organizing a shelf, when a couple aisles away I hear a child yell, "Booby shoes! They have booby shoes!"
I just stood there, blinking, wondering if I had heard that right. Then the kid yells it again, and this time I hear in a mortified tone from the mother, "They're Labubu shoes. LABUBU!"
I had to go into the stockroom so no one would hear me laugh my ass off.

I really want to be excited about the Resident Evil movie. Heck, I was excited when it sounded like it was going to be an Outbreak-esque story with original characters set during RE2.
But the more I see about it, the less confident I feel about it. I don't know what it is about it, but now I'm kinda dreading it. It just feels really off somehow. I hope that when I actually see it (and I will see it in the theater) I'll enjoy it, but right now? I just don't know about it.
To celebrate the first anniversary of Dead Take's release on July 31st, here is a fanwork celebration!
What do I have to do?
Create fanworks to celebrate the game and its themes and characters! These fanworks can be in any format you like - fanfiction, fanart, graphics, videos, memes, game guides, reviews, cosplay, Sims builds, interpretive dance, anything that grabs your imagination. Post these in the week leading up to and the week after the anniversary (or whenever you like, honestly), do as much or as little as you like, and generally just enjoy this fantastic game.
Then, tag your submissions as #dead take anniversary celebration or just #dead take, the tag is pretty quiet, so we can share and enjoy!
