Man I don't think Harvey is getting paid enough for all of that. Signed on for a weekend job and ended up staying for what? Over 100 years? Rip 💀

Harvey is sort of the obvious choice, I saw quite a few people picked that from the very start, but not necessarily a bad one. I'm kinda glad it was him rather than a totally new person or one off character that's never seen again. (Also he is my personal favourite so no complaints here!)

Kate and her brother were a great addition to the game and an interesting path to follow. Although as much as she's a g for bonking Alexandra over the head like that, considering the whole "one will die the other will be enlightened" thing, wouldn't baby James have been fine anyway? (Well not fine, guess he would have become an immortal baby??) I wonder if Harvey was assigned to watch over James while he was growing up the same way he watched over Laura? (servant of the lake more like nanny of the lake) Speaking of baby James, did anyone feel there were some uh... rather dark implications regarding his conception? Guess Alexandra really was just evil after all...

Out of all the games I feel like this one was the most grounded in reality. As in it doesn't feel like a memory or a metaphorical representation of what actually happened (looking at you Underground Blossom) but an actual recounting of the events leading up to Harvey drinking the elixir. It was a nice way to tie up a few loose threads as well as give us some backstory for a fan favourite character.

Have to give major props to the voice acting, sound and music because wow. Despite the horror elements, Rusty Lake games always have such a calm and cozy atmosphere and I think a lot of that can be credited to the musical score. Also, the sound effects. All that squishing and squelching starts to feel like ASMR.

10/10 for the absolutely anguished way William yells "Where is my hat?!" during the mushroom induced hallucination sequence. It's very quickly become an often repeated phrase in my household (along with "I need my drink!")

Was not expecting to trip balls with Aldous Vanderboom but hey
