“I have a job, so I can’t go on a road trip. I do go to parties. I don’t like hosting parties. I’m not looking for a relationship,” Sadie let out, shooting his ideas down, “You can not be impatient while doing fun things.”

“Nope, nothing exciting,” Sadie shrugged, “Parties are the excitement in my life. That and work.” She rose an eyebrow at that. “Go home and ‘yup?”

“What’s the big deal?” he shrugged, “It wasn’t like they were giving me a lap dance or anything.”

“You’re not supposed to go past a certain line when you’re dating someone,” Sadie said simply.

Peter shrugged, “Girls wanted to sit beside me, I let them. They wanted to borrow something, I let them. They wanted a hug, I gave it to them. Sometimes if they wanted to, I’d let them sit on my lap. I don’t know.”

“Don’t knock it ‘til you try it!” He chuckled. “I’ve actually never tried that kind. Are they really that good?” Charlie teased, before tilting his head once again. “I’m sorry. I thought we were getting along fine here.” 

"Try some, then," Sadie said with a shrug. She rose an eyebrow at his words. "We were, just saying since you said I was being nosy that you are also being nosy."

“Were you flirting with other girls?” she questioned, raising an eyebrow as she turned into their neighbourhood.

“No,” he shook his head, “She is my girlfriend that I broke up with about a month and a half ago.”

“Why’d you break up?” Sadie questioned.

“Or I keep on getting into relationships with girls,” he pointed out, “Like Alex.”

“So that’s his name?” Sadie asked, a smirk tugging at her lips.

“I don’t know,” he shrugged, looking away again.

“That’s how it starts,” she shrugged, “You noticed they’re attractive at first, but tell yourself you don’t actually want to kiss them. Then when you realize you do, you tell yourself that’s it, it’s no big deal, not like you’d want to have sex or be in a relationship or anything. Then once you get to that point... You actually start to accept it.”
