Say what you want about Drake, but the man does have the ability to make hits…when he wants.  Over the weekend the YMCMB (Young Money Cash Money Billionaires) artists dropped four tracks, and announced the release date of his forthcoming album Nothing Was The Same. From the sounds of it, Nothing Was The Same is gearing up to be a solid release.  

When it comes to music in the summer no one does it better than Dom Kennedy. Entitled “Never”, Dom hops on a laidback beat produced by The Futuristiks to create another summer hit that’s perfect to ride to on these warm days and cooler nights. There’s no official word on where this track will end up, but it will more than likely appear on Dom’s forthcoming album Get Home Safely.

Avicii and his new movement....Folk house? A lot of people were upset with his 2013 Ultra set where he incorporated live bands within his djing but something about this song works with me.  Hope he finds success in his new endeavor.

Some people say that drum and bass all sounds the same......well to them, I say they just need to listen closer.  Each song has a story they are trying to tell.  Nothing worthwhile is ever just on the surface.

MitiS released a four track EP this week on Beatport.  "Open window" would have to be my favorite song followed by "Pain"  on this EP selection.  Find your favorite and buy it or just get the whole thing, the choice is yours.

An interesting remix from Pegboard Nerds.

The Chainsmokers just released this remix for ASTR's Operate, giving it a progressive house feel.  While I do enjoy this remix, I'm really a fan of the Original which has more of an indie electronic feel to it.  When an original is as good as this I find it appropriate to supply that song as well. please enjoy both =]

Recently released remix from Ultra records by Tiesto and Moska.  This remix is a nice new taste of a Tiesto's song "Century" from 2009.  Hope to hear this one when I'm out and about this summer.
