Leaving Behind this Blog
Okay, so this is… A long time coming actually. I haven’t been that active and I know I let friendships lapse here.
I went to film school. I moved out of my parents house, I’m an adult now. Which isn’t to say I wasn’t before, but my writing and experience and perspective have changed in the last few years.
I love the most of the people I met here when I was young, and I’m friends a few of you still. But I think it’s time to leave this blog behind and move on.
I am staying on tumblr! I will be moving to: @jules-m-scribbles to be more cohesive with my Instagram and threads accounts! I am still working on Scions of Syralth and I’ll be hopefully either be self publishing or looking for a publisher by the end of September this year! I also have some film stuff starting to pick up steam so hopefully, I can be sharing that as well!

The way that exclusionists treat ace and aro people often reminds me of how the average person would treat me when I started being open as non-binary. Let me start with this: Transitioning is hard, in this world or anywhere else. Gender is also confusing as fuck, I’m still playing with mine. But it’s also something really beautiful that I’ll never quite understand but I’ve tried my best to do my research while worldbuilding so if I get some stuff wrong/offensive, let me know! I’ll do brief explanations for humans, dwarves and elves and hopefully, this won’t be too long.
