Key IT Operations Management frameworks such as (but not limited to) ITIL and CobiT and processes.
In understanding IT operations and service management, there are so many interesting things to understand and observe as to how the process designs lead to people choosing one over another. COBIT and ITIL have been made use of in IT operations and management, and although reading it as a mention in some of the text, is not similar to understanding it in a more comprehensive way. When understanding them as in the case of the framework models, they could be understood in its implementation and more in a very comprehensive way. Information technology infrastructure library ITIL is majorly the set of practices which are focused on presenting efficient IT services for businesses. This course helped me to gain a thorough understanding on the differentiations in the practices, based on processes between ITIL and COBIT. For instance, both COBIT and ITIL have been provided for guidance on how to govern and manage IT related services, but the way these service would manage or connect with IT infrastructure in-house is different. Understanding these differentiations will make the implementation more successful.
