I don’t know if it’s the change of season or if it’s the change of my mental state, but I have finally accepted that letting go is what I need to do. Even though it might be hard, it is for the better.

I have struggled with letting go for quite some time now, but recently I had an epiphany: Although it may not seem like it, our time here on earth is very short. Wasting time dwelling on the past cuts that short amount of time in half.

If people make you feel hard to love, let them go. If people make you feel like you’re burdening them just by talking to them, let them go. If people make you feel unwanted in anyway, let them go.

You are so valuable and if anyone fails to see that, let them go.

However, letting go doesn’t necessarily mean you have to stop loving them. Certain people will always have a place in your heart and that is ok. Remember the good memories with them and then start making more memories with others.

Live your life for you and only you. Let go of anything that makes you feel less.
