We bet you didn’t spot this in The Movie the first time around.

“So, when you’re trying to have a movie that takes place in this video game world, ideally you have characters from real titles to populate that world, but it’s also really difficult. You put a lot of things in there that for 4 seconds alone might necessitate 400 pages of paperwork. And one company in particular had a lot to say about how their characters should be used. But it was good, starting a discussion, talking about what a character would do and surprising each other. It’s important to remember that people only act that way because they really care about how their characters are framed in a big movie with a lot of them like this, it’s a big ask. I think we did our best in the end to arrive at a portrayal both us and that company could be happy with. We had to talk with Nintendo also.”

And it was the usual, some surprises, some not, a lot of MCU stuff, a lot of sequels, a lot of remakes. But apparently there’s gonna be a live action adaptation of HORRORSTÖR? HORRORSTÖR? I mean fine, I guess. I never finished it myself. The annoying humor and racism was just too much to sit through but I don’t really remember anything else. It was all about the little diagrams honestly, but that doesn’t play as anything special today. Like, there was an abandoned twitter account with the exact same bit! Watch out, Backrooms (2026)? Ha-Ha.”

So we looked up some stuff to launch off of, and I’ve gotta say, those Newgrounds games about torturing Justin Bieber to death in all sorts of ways look awesome as fuckkkkk🔥”

You know, due to the nature of these things, we always appreciated video game tie-ins, even if they weren’t always the best stuff. But the day I walked into an arcade with one of those blown up Crossy Road games, and obviously chose the Wreck-It Ralph skins, I saw they couldn’t be assed to fucking include my favorite character “Blue Racer” in the goddamn roster. I immediately went home and tried everything I could to pull the plug with that deal, but that wasn’t really my decision to make. Awful. I would appreciate if everyone refrained from playing that game until they add “Blue Racer” to every active arcade machine, in solidarity.
