Day two of the lemonade stand .
Strawberry Lemonade
( yuki tsunoda x !fem chef reader)
You never expected your little restaurant tucked away in Monaco to become one of the most talked-about places in the Formula 1 paddock.
What started as sending your boyfriend, Yuki Tsunoda, homemade lunches slowly turned into feeding half of the Red Bull garage. Fresh pastries on Friday mornings, cookies after qualifying, and desserts that somehow disappeared before anyone else could get one.
Yuki insists he's your biggest fan, proudly telling anyone who'll listen that his girlfriend is the best chef in Monaco. The mechanics agree. So do the engineers. Even the rival teams keep finding excuses to stop by the Red Bull hospitality whenever you're around.
Some drivers chase podiums.
You accidentally became the paddock's favorite chef.

The video starts outside a cozy restaurant in Monaco as a black SUV pulls up. One by one, several familiar F1 drivers step out wearing hoodies, caps, and sunglasses, clearly hoping not to be recognized. The person filming whispers in disbelief as they spot Yuki Tsunoda leading the group inside, followed by Max Verstappen, Liam Lawson, and a few Red Bull mechanics.
The next clip shows everyone leaving nearly two hours later. They're laughing, carrying takeaway boxes, and Yuki is holding a small paper bag that another driver jokingly tries to steal before Yuki snatches it back. The person filming zooms in as someone says, "See you next race... and save me a table next time!"

The video begins at the Monaco paddock entrance as the camera pans across the crowd before suddenly zooming in on you walking through the paddock. You're wearing a simple white linen outfit with sunglasses, your accreditation around your neck, and carrying two large paper bags with Maison Étoile printed across the front.
As you pass by a few team motorhomes, several people smile and wave. You stop briefly to greet a Red Bull mechanic before continuing toward the Red Bull Hospitality. One mechanic immediately reaches over to peek inside one of the bags, making you laugh and gently pull it away. A few seconds later, Yuki appears at the entrance, grinning from ear to ear. He takes one of the bags from your hands before holding the door open for you, and the video ends just as the two of you disappear inside.
user48291: i know those mechanics were counting down the days 😭
user90715: NOT THEM TRYING TO LOOK INSIDE THE BAG IMMEDIATELY 💀
user71139: that's not yuki's girlfriend anymore. that's the red bull garage's chef.
user29544: imagine working in the paddock and getting homemade food every race weekend.
user84013: the mechanic trying to sneak a look in the bag sent me 😭
user53098: the restaurant logo on the bag is free advertising at this point.

The video catches you walking through the paddock with several of the rookies after a session, all of you laughing about something. One of them glances at the tote bag on your shoulder and asks, "Please tell me you still have food left." You burst out laughing, open the bag just enough to peek inside, and reply, "Maybe... if you get there before Yuki does." Everyone starts laughing as the group continues walking toward the Red Bull hospitality.
user14087: THE FACT THEY ALL KNOW SHE BRINGS FOOD.
user84320: yuki definitely finished half the bag already.

(kimi antonelli x !fem medical student leclerc)
Your ideal plan for one of the incredibly rare days you had off from university definitely wasn't spending it with your older brother or Max Verstappen.
As much as you loved them, tagging along on one of Max's family afternoons wasn't exactly your definition of relaxing. Still, you couldn't complain about spending the day with your sister-in-law, Alexandra, Kelly Piquet, Penelope, little Lily, and everyone else.
What you didn't expect was Max casually mentioning that someone else was joining them.
Kimi Antonelli.
The youngest Formula 1 World Championship leader.
The last thing Kimi expected on his day off was meeting Charles Leclerc's little sister.
The last thing you expected was that one family lunch would turn into late-night texts, stolen weekends, and somehow falling for the one driver everyone assumed was completely out of your league.
a/n: this request was so fun to write, sorry i took my time with it, it's just with my trip and me preparing the fics for the summer lemonade stand its been a mess. extra info: comment if you wan to be added to the tag list and request are open. fc: Madeline Argy and pinterest girls

The one thing you wanted from your day off was sleep.
That was it.
No extravagant brunches in Monte Carlo.
No shopping.
No beach clubs.
No charity events your brother somehow managed to get invited to.
Just sleep.
Medical school had completely ruined your relationship with it. Between lectures, practicals, study sessions, anatomy flashcards, and professors who seemed to think their class was the only one that existed, eight hours of sleep had become nothing more than a fantasy.
So naturally...
Your brother had other plans.
"Absolutely not," Charles had said the night before while stealing strawberries from your bowl. "You're coming."
"I have a day off."
"So do I."
"I was planning on sleeping."
"You can sleep tomorrow."
"I also have class tomorrow."
"You'll survive."
"I won't."
Alexandra, sitting beside him on the couch, had laughed into her coffee.
"She has a point, Charles."
He had simply shrugged.
"She spends too much time studying."
"That's because I'm in medical school."
"And today you're spending time with family."
Family.
Funny how Charles considered Max Verstappen family now.
Not that you minded.
Max had always been nice to you, Kelly was wonderful, Penelope was probably one of your favorite tiny humans on Earth, and little Lily somehow managed to make everyone smile without even trying.
Still...
You could've been asleep.
Instead...
You were sitting on the back of your brother's yacht wearing an oversized linen shirt over your swimsuit, sunglasses resting on your nose, absentmindedly helping Penelope color a dolphin while your untouched iced coffee slowly melted beside you.
"Look!" Penelope held up the page proudly.
"I made the water purple."
You gasped dramatically.
"No way."
She nodded seriously.
"The dolphins wanted purple water."
"Well then," you said, taking the blue pencil away and replacing it with another shade of purple. "Who am I to question the dolphins?"
Penelope giggled.
"I knew you'd understand."
"Of course I do."
Kelly watched the interaction from one of the loungers with a smile.
"I think she likes you more than me."
You looked offended.
"Impossible."
Penelope looked between the two of you before pointing at you.
"I like both."
"Good answer," Kelly laughed.
Alexandra appeared carrying a tray of fruit.
"Someone's earning favorite aunt status."
"I'm not technically her aunt."
"You practically are."
Before you could answer, Charles walked out from inside the yacht carrying two drinks.
"You know..." he began.
You narrowed your eyes immediately.
"I don't like that tone."
"What tone?"
"That older brother tone."
"I don't have one."
"You absolutely do."
He handed you your coffee.
"You've actually smiled today."
"I smiled because Penelope declared dolphins live in purple water."
"It means you're enjoying yourself."
"I'm tolerating it."
"Liar."
"I'm surviving."
He rolled his eyes before walking away.
You took a sip of your coffee.
Still exhausted.
Still wishing you were asleep.
Still happy Penelope had chosen to sit next to you.
Honestly?
That made the trip worth it.
You had just started helping her draw tiny fish when Max suddenly looked toward the dock instead of untieing the yacht.
"Hm."
Charles looked up.
"What?"
"We're still waiting."
"For who?" Alexandra asked.
Max checked his phone.
"He's almost here."
You frowned.
"He?"
Max nodded.
"Yeah."
Charles looked just as confused.
"You invited someone?"
"I told you."
"You absolutely did not."
"I definitely did."
"You definitely didn't."
Kelly laughed.
"You two argue like siblings."
"We're worse," Charles replied.
A few moments later, footsteps echoed across the dock.
You looked up out of curiosity.
A tall boy walked toward the yacht wearing beige shorts, white sneakers and a navy polo, sunglasses resting on top of messy brown curls.
He looked around for a second before spotting Max.
"There he is!" Max called.
The boy smiled.
"Sorry, traffic."
"In Monaco?" Charles laughed.
"I got stopped by fans."
"Fair enough."
Max stepped off the yacht to greet him with a quick hug.
"You made it."
"Barely."
Charles suddenly froze.
"Oh."
"...Oh?"
"You invited Kimi."
"Yeah."
"You didn't tell me."
"I literally texted you."
Charles pulled out his phone.
"...Never mind."
Alexandra leaned toward you.
"I don't think he read it."
"He never reads anything."
"Except race strategies."
"Exactly."
The boy followed Max onto the yacht.
He greeted Kelly first.
"Hi."
"Hi, Kimi."
Then Alexandra.
"Good to see you."
"You too."
Charles walked over.
"Hey."
"Hey."
The two exchanged a quick hug.
You had heard plenty about Kimi Antonelli.
Kind of impossible not to.
Youngest Formula One World Championship leader.
Mercedes driver.
The internet's favorite awkward golden retriever.
You'd seen interviews because Charles insisted on making you watch funny F1 compilations whenever you visited.
He seemed...
Different in person.
Less polished.
Less intimidating.
Normal.
Then his eyes landed on you.
For about three seconds neither of you spoke.
Max noticed immediately.
"Oh right."
He clapped once.
"You two haven't met."
Charles sighed.
Of course.
"Kimi."
He gestured toward you.
"My little sister."
You offered a polite smile.
"Hi."
Kimi blinked.
"Oh."
Very smooth.
Very eloquent.
You had to fight the urge to laugh.
"Hi."
Max looked between the two of you.
"You okay?"
Kimi nodded a little too quickly.
"Yeah."
Another pause.
Charles pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Use your words."
"I'm trying."
"You are objectively failing."
"I'm Kimi."
"I know."
"...Right."
You couldn't help it.
A laugh escaped your lips.
Not loud.
Just enough for everyone to hear.
Kimi looked horrified.
"I'm sorry."
"For what?"
"That was awkward."
"It was."
"I'm usually better."
"You don't have to convince me."
"I wasn't trying to."
"You kind of were."
Max burst out laughing.
Kelly joined him.
Even Alexandra covered her mouth.
Charles simply looked at Kimi.
"Congratulations."
"For what?"
"You've known my sister for thirty seconds and she's already teasing you."
"I deserved it."
"You really did."
The atmosphere immediately relaxed.
"You study medicine, right?" Kimi asked after a moment.
You nodded.
"Unfortunately."
"I thought doctors liked medicine."
"I'm not a doctor."
"Yet."
"Exactly."
"What year?"
"Sixth."
His eyebrows lifted.
"That's impressive."
You shrugged.
"It's mostly exhausting."
"I can imagine."
"I don't think you can."
"I race twenty-four weekends a year."
"And I memorize two hundred muscles before breakfast."
"...Okay, maybe I can't."
Max laughed again.
"I like her."
Charles crossed his arms.
"Don't."
"I didn't say anything!"
"You were thinking it."
"I was literally complimenting her."
"I know how this goes."
Kelly leaned toward Alexandra and whispered loud enough for everyone to hear,
"He's in protective older brother mode already."
Alexandra smiled.
"I give it an hour before he starts making rules."
"I already have rules," Charles defended.
You sighed dramatically.
"I promise I'm capable of introducing myself to people without your supervision."
"We'll see."
Max untied the yacht.
"Alright."
"Now that everyone's finally here..."
He grinned.
"Let's actually enjoy our day off."
As the yacht slowly left the harbor, you looked out toward the sparkling Mediterranean, the salty breeze finally waking you up more than your coffee ever could.
Maybe your brother had been right.
Maybe staying in bed all day would've been nice.
But somehow...
Watching Penelope excitedly point at every boat, listening to Lily's tiny giggles from Kelly's arms, hearing Max and Charles argue over who should captain the yacht, and meeting the surprisingly awkward Mercedes driver...
Your day off wasn't turning out so bad after all.
˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ .
Kimi Antonelli knew a lot of things.
He knew how to read tire degradation.
He knew how to save battery during a race.
He knew how to explain oversteer, understeer, dirty air, slipstreams, race strategy, and why people shouldn't panic after one bad qualifying session.
Medicine?
Absolutely not.
The only reason he knew the names of a few bones was because he'd broken one before.
After almost twenty minutes of listening to Max and Charles argue about whether pineapple belonged on pizza—a debate that had somehow evolved into whether cereal was technically soup—Kimi had reached a conclusion.
He was leaving.
Not the yacht.
Just...
That conversation.
He quietly stood up from the outdoor sofa, grabbed his drink, and walked toward the back of the yacht where you had settled onto one of the cushioned benches.
Penelope was still drawing.
Lily, who had apparently decided Kelly's arms were no longer interesting, was happily sitting beside you, trying to grab the corner of your oversized shirt.
You didn't seem to mind.
One hand absentmindedly kept Lily entertained while the other helped Penelope draw another suspicious-looking dolphin.
Kimi smiled to himself.
It looked... peaceful.
"Escaping?" you asked without looking up from the coloring book.
He blinked.
"You noticed?"
"I heard Charles start talking about pineapple."
"...Fair."
He sat across from you.
"I couldn't do it anymore."
"I don't blame you."
Penelope looked up.
"They've been talking forever."
"They really have," Kimi agreed.
Silence settled comfortably between the three of you.
Well...
Four, if Lily's enthusiastic babbling counted as conversation.
She reached toward Kimi with both tiny hands.
He looked at her.
She looked at him.
"...Hi."
Lily squealed.
"I think she likes you," you said.
"I hope so."
"You passed the baby inspection."
"That's a thing?"
"Oh, absolutely."
He looked genuinely concerned.
"I didn't know there was an inspection."
"There isn't."
"...You just made that up."
"I did."
He laughed.
"You do that a lot?"
"What?"
"Say things with a completely straight face."
"I've found it keeps people entertained."
"It definitely works."
Another comfortable silence.
Then curiosity got the better of him.
"So..."
You looked over.
"So?"
"You actually study medicine?"
"I do."
"What year?"
"Sixth."
He let out a low whistle.
"That's... impressive."
"It mostly means I don't sleep."
"I thought Formula One schedules were bad."
You laughed.
"They are."
"But?"
"But I've pulled all-nighters because someone decided we should learn every cranial nerve in forty-eight hours."
Kimi frowned.
"Every what?"
"Cranial nerve."
"...I don't know what that is."
"There are twelve."
"There are twelve?"
You nodded.
"I barely remember my own phone number."
She laughed softly.
"Trust me, some days I don't remember them either."
He leaned forward slightly.
"So... how long until you're officially a doctor?"
"If everything goes according to plan, another couple of years."
"And then?"
"I apply for residency."
He nodded as if he understood.
"...What's residency?"
You smiled.
"See? Nobody actually knows how medicine works."
"I thought you graduated and became a doctor."
"I wish."
"So you don't?"
"No."
"What happens?"
"I graduate."
"Mhm."
"I spend several years working ridiculous hours while training in a specialty."
"...There's more school?"
"A lot more."
His jaw dropped.
"You're joking."
"I wish I were."
"How are doctors alive?"
"Caffeine."
"That's it?"
"And spite."
He laughed so hard he nearly spilled his drink.
"That's probably the most honest answer I've ever heard."
Lily suddenly tugged on your sleeve.
You immediately looked down.
"What is it, sweetheart?"
She pointed toward her bottle sitting just out of reach.
"Oh."
You handed it to her before gently brushing a strand of hair away from her face.
"There you go."
Kimi watched the interaction quietly.
It looked...
Natural.
Like you'd done it a hundred times before.
"You really like kids."
You looked back at him.
"I love them."
"Is that why you're studying medicine?"
"It helped me decide."
"So... what specialty do you want?"
Your face lit up in a way he hadn't seen all afternoon.
"Pediatrics."
"Pediatrics?"
"The children's department."
"I know what pediatrics is," he laughed.
"I just didn't expect you to answer so fast."
"There was never really another option."
"Really?"
You nodded.
"I did rotations in different departments."
"And?"
"I respected all of them."
"But..."
"Pediatrics felt like home."
He listened carefully.
"I know working with children isn't easy."
"It isn't."
"They're scared."
"They are."
"They cry."
"Sometimes."
"They can't always explain what's wrong."
"Exactly."
"So why choose it?"
You looked out toward the sea for a second before answering.
"Because they deserve someone who's patient."
Kimi stayed quiet.
You continued.
"A hospital is terrifying when you're little."
"I remember."
"I want to be the doctor that makes it a little less scary."
There wasn't an ounce of hesitation in your voice.
No uncertainty.
No doubt.
Just quiet confidence.
It made something click in Kimi's head.
Most people his age still didn't know what they wanted to do with their lives.
You did.
You'd found your purpose.
"That's..."
He searched for the right word.
"...really cool."
You laughed.
"'Cool'?"
"I don't know the medical vocabulary."
"You don't have to."
"I barely know biology."
"You race Formula One cars."
"Which have significantly fewer organs."
You grinned.
"I hope so."
"I'd be worried otherwise."
For the next half hour, Kimi asked question after question.
"How many bones are there?"
"Two hundred and six."
"What happens if someone has an extra one?"
"It happens."
"It does?"
"Mhm."
"Can doctors tell if people are lying?"
"No."
"Can you?"
"I can tell when patients leave out details."
"Like?"
"'I've had this cough for two days.'"
"And?"
"They've actually had it for three weeks."
He nodded slowly.
"So you're basically a detective."
"With more paperwork."
"What was the hardest class?"
"Anatomy."
"The easiest?"
"There isn't one."
"That's terrifying."
"It should be."
By the time Max wandered over with Charles still complaining about pizza toppings, Kimi had completely forgotten he'd come over just to escape an argument.
Instead, he'd spent the last forty-five minutes learning about medicine from the most interesting person he'd met in a long time.
Max glanced between the two of you.
"You guys have been talking this whole time?"
Kimi answered before you could.
"Did you know there are two hundred and six bones in the human body?"
Max blinked.
"...No?"
"And residency isn't actually being a doctor yet."
Charles looked at you.
"What have you done to him?"
You innocently shrugged.
"I answered his questions."
Max laughed.
"You've created a monster."
"Oh, I'm not done yet," Kimi said, looking back at you with genuine curiosity.
"I still have about a million more questions."
You smiled.
"Good."
"I have a million answers."
˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ .
If someone had asked you what you expected to happen after your day on Charles' yacht, your answer would've been simple.
Go home.
Take the longest shower known to mankind.
Sleep for twelve hours.
Forget that your older brother had successfully stolen your only day off.
Instead...
You were sitting in your apartment at eleven forty-three at night, still wearing one of Charles' hoodies that you'd accidentally taken months ago, surrounded by flashcards, an open anatomy atlas, and a cup of coffee that had gone cold over an hour ago.
You sighed.
"This is miserable."
No one answered.
Obviously.
You lived alone.
Well...
Almost alone.
Your phone buzzed against the table.

You: no i'm actually still floating somewhere in the mediterranean
Charles: Smartass.
Charles: Did you get home safely?
You: yes dad
Charles: Good.
You: are you okay?
Charles: Just checking.
You smiled to yourself.
For all the annoying things Charles did...
He had always been your biggest protector.
Your parents traveled constantly, so growing up, he'd naturally stepped into that role. Sometimes a little too enthusiastically.
Your phone buzzed again.
Charles: Also...
Charles: Max says thanks for today.
You: tell him next time i'm sleeping instead
Charles: He said "we'll see."
You snorted.
That sounded exactly like Max.
You tossed your phone onto the couch before returning to your notes.
Congenital heart defects.
Not your favorite topic.
You had read the same paragraph four times.
Nothing.
Your brain had officially clocked out.
Another buzz.
You groaned dramatically.
"If this is Charles again..."
It wasn't.
An unknown number.
You frowned.
Who was texting you at midnight?
Unknown Number
Hi :)
You stared.
That wasn't suspicious at all.
You: who is this?
Three dots appeared almost immediately.
Unknown Number: the guy who asked approximately two million questions today
You laughed before you could stop yourself.
Of course.
You: oh
You: hi question machine
Almost instantly...
Question Machine : ..rude
You smiled.
You hadn't even saved the number yet.
You: how did you get my number?
His answer came embarrassingly fast.
Question Machine: max
That tracked.
You: remind me to yell at him
Question Machine: he actually asked charles first
What?
Your eyebrows shot up.
Charles...
Had given Kimi your number?
Voluntarily?
Either your brother had hit his head on something...
Or he hadn't realized what he'd done.
Interesting.
You: i'm surprised my brother agreed
Question Machine: he said "don't make me regret this."
You burst into laughter.
That sounded exactly like Charles.
Question Machine: so...
Question Machine: can i ask another question?
You rolled your eyes affectionately.
Of course he could.
You: i knew there was a reason you texted me
Question Machine: 😔
Question Machine: maybe i wanted to say hi
You: sure you did
Question Machine: okay maybe i also have a question
You set your flashcards aside.
You: go ahead
A typing bubble appeared.
Disappeared.
Appeared again.
He was definitely overthinking this.
Finally...
Question Machine: how do you remember everything?
You blinked.
That...
Wasn't the question you expected.
You: i don't
Question Machine: but you know so much
You: that's because i've forgotten just as much
No reply.
You continued.
You: medicine isn't about remembering everything
You: it's about knowing where to start
A few seconds later...
Question Machine: that's actually kind of cool
You smiled.
You: thank you
Another message.
Question Machine: do you ever get scared?
That one made you pause.
You leaned back in your chair before answering honestly.
You: every day
...
Question Machine: really?
You: one day people will trust me with their children
You: that's terrifying
For almost a minute...
Nothing.
Then...
Question Machine: i think that's exactly why you'll be good at it
Your fingers hovered above the keyboard.
It was such a simple sentence.
But somehow...
It meant a lot.
Most people heard "medicine" and immediately started talking about how smart you must be.
Very few people understood the responsibility behind it.
You typed slowly.
You: thank you
Question Machine: you're welcome
Silence settled between the two of you.
Neither of you seemed eager to end the conversation.
Then...
Question Machine: okay serious question now
You laughed.
You: i knew it
Question Machine: if i eat an apple every day
Question Machine: do doctors actually stay away?
You stared at your phone.
Then laughed so loudly your neighbor probably heard.
You: absolutely not
Question Machine: so i've been lied to
You: your entire life
Question Machine: devastating news
You: i'm sorry you had to find out this way
Another notification popped up before you could put your phone down.
Question Machine: one more thing
You: hmm?
Question Machine: thank you for today
You looked at the message for a moment.
It shouldn't have made your heart feel warm.
But it did.
Question Machine: i had fun
Your lips curved into a smile.
Against all odds...
So had you.
You: me too :)
You locked your phone and placed it beside your anatomy textbook.
For the first time all evening...
Studying didn't seem quite so exhausting.
Miles away, completely unaware of the smile on your face, Kimi Antonelli was probably asking himself another million questions.
And if you were being honest...
You didn't mind answering every single one.
Did Kimi Antonelli ask Charles if he could pick you up from university instead of your older brother Arthur?
Yes.
Did Charles question him for a solid five minutes before agreeing?
Also yes.
Was it completely worth it?
Absolutely.
"You're asking... what exactly?" Charles repeated from the other end of the phone.
Kimi shifted the phone from one ear to the other as he walked through the Mercedes hospitality.
"I was wondering if I could pick Y/N up after her classes."
Silence.
"...Why?"
"Because Arthur usually does, right?"
"...Yeah."
"So..."
Another pause.
"Kimi."
"Yeah?"
"Why do you want to pick up my sister?"
Kimi frowned.
"Because I wanted to see her?"
Charles laughed.
"That's not helping your case."
"I'm not trying to build a case."
"It sounds like you're building a case."
"I just—"
"You just what?"
"I liked talking to her."
Charles sighed dramatically.
"I knew Max giving you her number would come back to haunt me."
"It wasn't Max."
"I know."
"...You gave it to me."
"I know."
"...Why did you give it to me?"
"I don't know."
"You don't know?"
"I had a moment of weakness."
Kimi couldn't help laughing.
"So... can I?"
Charles stayed quiet for a few seconds.
Finally...
"You have exactly one job."
"I'm listening."
"You bring her home."
"I know."
"No detours."
"...Okay."
"No speeding."
"I drive Formula One cars, Charles."
"Exactly."
"I don't speed on public roads."
"You'd better not."
"I don't."
Another pause.
"And don't flirt with her."
Kimi nearly choked on his water.
"I wasn't planning on it!"
"Mhm."
"I'm serious."
"Mhm."
"...Can I pick her up or not?"
Charles sighed.
"I'll text you the address."
The next afternoon...
Kimi pulled his Mercedes into one of the visitor parking spots outside the medical faculty.
He looked around.
Students hurried in every direction.
Some still wore white coats over their clothes.
Others carried anatomy books that looked heavy enough to double as gym equipment.
He checked his phone.
Charles 🏎️
She's probably still inside.
She always leaves ten minutes late because someone asks her questions.
Kimi smiled.
That sounded like you.
He leaned against his car and waited.
Five minutes passed.
Then eight.
Then...
The doors opened.
Groups of students poured out, laughing and talking about an upcoming exam.
And then he spotted you.
Your hair was tied into a messy ponytail, your backpack looked ridiculously heavy, and you were carrying what seemed to be half a library against your chest.
You were talking animatedly with two friends.
"...If Professor Martin says 'it's obvious' one more time, I'm dropping out."
One of your friends laughed.
"You say that every week."
"One day I'll mean it."
"You won't."
"I know."
The three of you reached the steps outside.
One of them suddenly stopped talking.
"...Y/N?"
"Hm?"
"I think someone's waiting for you."
You looked up.
Your eyes landed on Kimi.
For a second...
You just stared.
Then you looked behind you.
Then back at him.
He gave you a small wave.
Your friends immediately looked between the two of you.
"...Isn't that..."
"The Mercedes driver?" the other whispered.
You groaned.
"Oh no."
They both grabbed your arms.
"You know Kimi Antonelli?"
"Why is Kimi Antonelli here?"
"What did you do?"
"I literally don't know!"
You walked toward him, your friends shamelessly following a few steps behind.
"What are you doing here?"
Kimi smiled.
"I came to pick you up."
"You..."
You blinked.
"...What?"
"I asked Charles."
"My brother agreed?"
"I was just as surprised."
You laughed, shaking your head.
"He really let you?"
"He gave me a whole list of rules."
"I'm almost afraid to ask."
"No speeding."
"Reasonable."
"No detours."
"Makes sense."
"And..."
He rubbed the back of his neck.
"...No flirting."
You laughed so hard you had to steady yourself against your backpack.
"He actually said that?"
"Word for word."
"Oh my God."
Behind you, your two friends were pretending very badly not to eavesdrop.
One of them leaned toward the other.
"I knew she had interesting siblings."
"The Leclerc family never disappoints."
You turned around.
"I can hear both of you."
"We know."
"You're embarrassing me."
"That's what friends are for."
Kimi chuckled.
"So..."
He gestured toward the mountain of books in your arms.
"Need some help?"
You looked down.
"...Please."
He took the stack from your hands without complaining.
"How many books do you carry every day?"
"I don't want to talk about it."
"They weigh more than I do."
"Welcome to medicine."
He looked at the top textbook.
"Pediatrics."
"Mhm."
"You weren't kidding."
"Nope."
"You really carry these around?"
"Unfortunately."
He lifted the stack slightly.
"I think I've found today's workout."
You smiled.
"Now imagine carrying them up three flights of stairs."
"...Absolutely not."
Your friends watched the interaction with matching grins.
One of them quietly pulled out her phone.
The other elbowed her.
"What?"
"I'm texting the group chat."
"Already?"
"Obviously."
You sighed dramatically.
"I haven't even left campus yet."
"Too late," your friend replied. "Everyone's about to know Charles Leclerc's sister got picked up by Kimi Antonelli."
You buried your face in your hands.
"This is exactly why I wanted to go home and sleep."
Kimi laughed.
"Too late."
You looked up at him.
"...You're enjoying this."
"A little."
"You've known me for less than a week."
"I know."
"And you're already teaming up against me."
He opened the passenger door for you with an innocent smile.
"I have no idea what you're talking about."
You rolled your eyes, unable to hide your own smile as you climbed into the car.
Maybe...
Getting picked up after class wasn't such a bad surprise after all.
˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ .
Were you annoyed that the cute Mercedes driver had picked you up from university?
Absolutely not.
Were you annoyed that your brother's number one rule had been no detours?
Very much so.
Mainly because...
The only thing you'd eaten all day was a granola bar at nine in the morning and whatever caffeine counted as.
Medical school wasn't exactly known for giving students lunch breaks.
You glanced out the passenger window before your stomach decided to betray you.
Growl.
You immediately looked at Kimi.
"...Pretend you didn't hear that."
He kept his eyes on the road.
"I didn't hear anything."
"...Liar."
"I heard absolutely nothing."
Another growl.
This one was louder.
Kimi bit the inside of his cheek, clearly trying not to laugh.
"Oh my God."
"I'm sorry."
"No, you're not."
"I'm trying to be respectful."
"You are failing."
A laugh escaped him.
"So..."
He looked over for a second.
"When was the last time you actually ate?"
You thought about it.
"...Does coffee count?"
"No."
"Then..."
You checked your watch dramatically.
"...About seven hours ago."
He looked horrified.
"Seven?"
"I had a granola bar."
"That's not lunch."
"I know."
"That's barely breakfast."
"I know."
"You can't do that."
You shrugged.
"I had lectures."
"And?"
"And then a lab."
"Mhm."
"And then another lecture."
"So you just... didn't eat?"
"It happens."
Kimi looked genuinely offended on your behalf.
"No."
"What?"
"We're fixing that."
You smiled.
"My brother said no detours."
"He did."
"So..."
You gave him your best innocent smile.
"...Maybe we don't tell Charles."
Kimi laughed.
"You're asking me to break the rules?"
"I'm asking you to save a starving medical student."
"You had a granola bar."
"Exactly."
He shook his head, still smiling.
"You know that's emotional manipulation, right?"
"I prefer persuasive."
"You've known me for, what, four days?"
"And?"
"And you're already convincing me to disobey your brother."
"I haven't convinced you yet."
"You kind of have."
You grinned triumphantly.
"I knew it."
He sighed dramatically before flicking on his indicator.
You blinked.
"...Wait."
"Weren't we supposed to go straight home?"
"We were."
"So..."
He pulled into the parking lot of a small café overlooking the marina.
"...This is technically a very tiny detour."
You laughed.
"I'll defend you if Charles gets mad."
"Oh, you're definitely the first person I'm blaming."
"Deal."
A few minutes later, the two of you sat outside with sandwiches, fries in the middle of the table, and two iced coffees.
You took one bite of your sandwich and closed your eyes.
"I might actually cry."
Kimi smiled over the rim of his coffee.
"That good?"
"You have no idea."
"You really forget to eat that often?"
You nodded sheepishly.
"Sometimes I get busy."
He reached across the table, stole one of your fries, and pointed it at you.
"New rule."
"You don't get to make rules."
"I think I do."
"Oh?"
"If we're texting every day..."
You tried not to smile at the when, not if.
"...I'm going to ask if you've eaten."
You laughed softly.
"And if I say no?"
"I'm bringing you food."
"You don't even know my schedule."
"I'll learn it."
For a moment, neither of you spoke.
The sea sparkled behind him, people walked along the harbor, and the afternoon sun made everything feel slower than usual.
Maybe Charles was right.
Maybe you did need to take a break every once in a while.
Even if that break came with a cute Mercedes driver who asked too many questions... and apparently planned on making sure you actually ate lunch from now on.

Paddock Politics - aka12
(kimi antonelli x!russell fem reader)
Day 1 of the lemonade stand
Being George Russell’s little sister came with exactly one important rule : stay away from his teammates.
which honestly would’ve been easy… if his newest teammate wasn’t Kimi Antonelli.
at first it was harmless. late night paddock conversations, teasing texts, stolen hoodies and “accidentally” sitting next to each other every chance you got. but somewhere between secret glances in the mercedes garage and phone calls that lasted until 3am, harmless turned into something neither of you could ignore anymore.
the problem? george trusted kimi. like genuinely trusted him. and if there was one thing george loved more than protecting his sister, it was threatening anyone who looked at her for more than two seconds.
so now you and kimi are stuck sneaking around the paddock, hiding matching bracelets, deleting suspicious photos, and pretending your heart doesn’t stop every time george walks into a room while you’re standing a little too close together.
because apparently falling for your brother’s teammate was a terrible idea.
unfortunately for everyone involved, it was also the best one.

˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ .
The final laps felt endless.
You had stopped pretending to sit calmly on the pit wall nearly ten laps ago.
One hand clutched your headset.
The other rested over your mouth as you watched the timing screens change every few seconds.
LAP 54 OF 56.
"Kimi's tyres look good."
"He just needs to bring it home."
One of the engineers spoke into the radio while another kept his eyes glued to the telemetry.
You barely heard any of it.
All you could focus on was the black Mercedes leading the race.
"Come on..." you whispered to yourself.
Nobody heard you.
Or maybe they did.
No one said anything.
"Two laps remaining."
The garage somehow became even quieter.
George was running second.
Kimi still led.
It was looking more and more real.
Toto stood with his arms crossed, his expression unreadable.
Only the slight tapping of his fingers against his arm gave away that even he was nervous.
White flag.
One lap to go.
You couldn't breathe.
The radio crackled.
"Last lap, Kimi. Keep it clean."
Every sector felt like an eternity.
Sector one.
Green.
Sector two.
Green.
You found yourself smiling before you even realized it.
"He can do this..."
The final corner.
The grandstands erupted.
The Mercedes garage exploded.
"KIMI ANTONELLI WINS THE CHINESE GRAND PRIX!"
Cheers echoed through the pit lane.
Mechanics jumped into each other's arms.
Headsets flew into the air.
Someone actually screamed.
You laughed, your eyes immediately filling with tears.
"He did it..."
You didn't even notice you were crying until Carmen appeared beside you.
"I told you he would."
You nodded, laughing through the tears.
"I know."
Over the team radio, Kimi's voice finally came through.
"...We did it."
He sounded almost breathless.
"I can't believe it."
The garage applauded all over again.
Toto smiled.
A genuine, proud smile.
"Outstanding drive, Kimi."
"Absolutely outstanding."
As the cars rolled into parc fermé, you followed the rest of the Mercedes team toward the barriers.
Your heart was beating just as fast as it had during the race.
Kimi climbed out of the car.
For a second...
He simply stood there.
Helmet still on.
Hands resting on the halo.
Taking it all in.
Then he pulled off his helmet.
The smile on his face was impossible to miss.
George was the first person to reach him.
He wrapped Kimi in a quick hug before ruffling his hair.
"You did it!"
Kimi laughed.
"We did."
"First win!"
George looked genuinely happier than anyone.
"I'm proud of you."
"So proud."
You watched from a few steps away, your own smile growing.
George had no idea.
He was celebrating with his teammate.
You were celebrating with the person you loved.
Yet neither of you could show it.
Not here.
Not now.
One by one, the engineers hugged Kimi.
Mechanics patted him on the back.
Even Toto pulled him into a brief hug.
"You earned every bit of that."
"Thank you."
When Kimi looked up...
His eyes searched the crowd.
They found yours almost immediately.
Everything around you seemed to disappear.
The cheering.
The cameras.
The interviews waiting.
It all faded away.
You gave him a tiny thumbs up.
Then mouthed two simple words.
"I told you."
His smile somehow became even bigger.
He nodded once.
A silent,
"You did."
That was enough.
It had to be.
"Y/n!"
You quickly looked away.
George walked over, still wearing the biggest grin.
"Did you see that?"
You laughed.
"I think the entire world saw that."
"He actually won!"
"I know!"
George shook his head in disbelief.
"Our rookie."
"Our rookie won a Grand Prix."
"He was incredible."
You nodded.
"He really was."
George smiled proudly as he looked back toward Kimi, who was now surrounded by reporters.
"I'm happy for him."
"So am I."
You meant it more than George could ever imagine.
The podium ceremony was loud.
Champagne flew everywhere.
George stood on the second step.
Kimi on the top.
As the Italian anthem played, Kimi closed his eyes for a brief moment, taking everything in.
You stood below with the rest of Mercedes.
Applauding.
Smiling.
Trying very hard not to cry again.
He looked down for just a second.
Your eyes met.
You placed your hand over your heart.
He understood immediately.
His hand tightened around the winner's trophy.
Later that evening, after interviews, celebrations and endless congratulations, the Mercedes garage slowly emptied.
Kimi finally walked back inside, still carrying the winner's trophy.
The room erupted into applause once more.
George clapped the loudest.
"You'd better get used to carrying that around."
Kimi laughed.
"I'll try."
George walked over and nudged his shoulder.
"Drinks are on you tonight."
"They are?"
"You won."
"I suppose that's fair."
Everyone laughed.
You stayed near the back of the room, watching him soak in every second.
He caught your eye one last time.
No words.
No hugs.
No kiss.
Just a smile meant only for you.
It wasn't how either of you wanted to celebrate his first Formula One victory.
But seeing the quiet pride in his eyes...
Knowing that before he climbed into the car, he'd heard your voice telling him he belonged there...
Made the distance feel a little easier to bear.
The real celebration could wait.
For now, watching him stand there—Grand Prix winner, surrounded by his team and with George proudly calling him our rookie—was more than enough.
˚̣- : ✧ : – ⭒ ⊹ ⭒ – : ✧ : -˚̣⋅ .
The post-race celebrations had finally started to calm down.
The media had finished.
The engineers were beginning to pack away equipment.
Most of the drivers had already disappeared toward hospitality.
It was the perfect time.
Or so Carmen claimed.
"Okay," she whispered, peeking around the corner of the Mercedes garage.
"The coast is clear."
"You've said that three times today," you replied.
"And I've been right twice."
Kika nodded.
"I like those odds."
You crossed your arms.
"I don't know..."
Carmen grabbed your shoulders.
"You have approximately five minutes before George comes back."
"Maybe less," Kika added.
"So GO."
Before you could protest, the two of them practically pushed you toward the back of the garage.
Kimi was sitting on one of the equipment cases, still wearing the top half of his race suit tied around his waist.
He looked up the moment he heard your footsteps.
"There you are."
"There I am."
He smiled.
"I've been looking for you."
"I've been kidnapped by Carmen and Kika."
"...That sounds about right."
You laughed before standing in front of him.
"You were amazing today."
"You already told me."
"I'm telling you again."
"You don't get tired of complimenting me?"
"Not really."
His cheeks turned pink.
"I still can't believe I won."
"You should."
"I keep thinking someone's going to tell me it was a dream."
You reached over, gently fixing a strand of messy hair that had escaped after the podium celebrations.
"It wasn't."
He looked at you with that ridiculously soft expression that only ever appeared when the two of you were alone.
"You cried."
You looked offended.
"I did not."
"You absolutely did."
"There may have been... one tear."
"There were at least five."
"You counted?"
"I notice everything."
You rolled your eyes.
"Show off."
Outside the garage...
Operation Distract George had officially begun.
Carmen stood directly in front of the entrance with Kika beside her.
"Perfect."
Kika looked down the paddock.
"...Incoming."
George was walking toward them.
Unfortunately...
Alex Albon was walking next to him.
"Oh no."
"What?"
"The duo."
George smiled when he reached them.
"Have either of you seen my sister?"
Carmen answered far too quickly.
"No."
George blinked.
"I didn't even finish asking."
"You asked enough."
Alex looked between them.
"...Why are you two standing like security guards?"
"We're... not."
"You literally are."
Kika laughed nervously.
"We're just talking."
"In front of the only entrance?"
"..."
"..."
George narrowed his eyes.
"Move."
"No."
"Carmen."
"No."
"I need to go inside."
"Do you?"
"Yes."
"Think about it."
"I have."
"And?"
"I'm still going inside."
Inside...
Kimi gently reached for your hand.
"You know..."
"Hm?"
"I didn't get to celebrate properly."
"Oh?"
"There was a lot of champagne."
"There was."
"And interviews."
"Mhm."
"And George hugging me."
You laughed.
"I saw."
"So..."
He stepped a little closer.
"I think I'm owed one proper celebration."
Your smile grew.
"And what exactly does that involve?"
He leaned in just enough for your foreheads to touch.
"I was thinking..."
"A kiss?"
"I was hoping you'd say that."
You smiled before closing the small distance between you.
It was soft.
Unhurried.
The kind of kiss that made the noisy paddock disappear for just a few seconds.
Outside...
George sighed.
"I'm going in."
Carmen immediately stepped sideways.
"No."
George stopped.
"...Why are you acting weird?"
"We're always weird."
Alex nodded thoughtfully.
"That's actually true."
"Thank you!"
"But..."
Alex tilted his head.
"...you're weirder than usual."
Kika muttered under her breath.
"We're finished."
George crossed his arms.
"I'm serious."
Carmen tried one last time.
"George."
"What?"
"Have you ever considered..."
"...not going into the garage?"
"No."
"Just today?"
"No."
Alex suddenly frowned.
"...Hang on."
Everyone looked at him.
"...Why are we not allowed in?"
"We never said that."
"You kind of did."
Alex looked toward the slightly open garage door.
Then back at Carmen.
Then the garage.
Then Carmen again.
"Oh..."
His eyes widened.
"Oh."
Carmen pointed at him.
"Don't."
Alex grinned.
"I know that face."
"What face?"
"The 'someone's definitely hiding something' face."
George looked confused.
"What are you talking about?"
Alex shrugged.
"I don't know."
Then, with the confidence of a man about to create absolute chaos...
He pushed the garage door open.
George followed immediately.
"Oh for the love of—"
Carmen buried her face in her hands.
You and Kimi jumped apart so fast it was almost impressive.
Well...
You tried to.
The problem was...
Kimi's hand was still resting on your waist.
George stopped walking.
Alex stopped walking.
Silence.
Complete.
Utter.
Silence.
George looked at Kimi.
Then at you.
Then at Kimi's hand.
Then...
Very, very slowly...
At your faces.
"..."
"..."
"..."
Alex quietly whispered,
"Oh..."
George blinked.
Once.
Twice.
Three times.
"No."
Nobody moved.
"No."
Still nothing.
"No."
Kimi awkwardly lifted his hand.
"...Hi?"
George looked genuinely offended.
"Hi?"
"That's what you've got?"
"I panicked."
"You panicked?!"
"I panicked."
George turned toward you.
"You."
You gave him a tiny smile.
"...Hi?"
"You too?!"
Alex had completely given up trying to help.
Instead, he leaned against a toolbox.
"This is unbelievable."
George pointed dramatically between the two of you.
"You!"
Then at Kimi.
"You!"
Then back at you.
"You are my sister!"
"...Correct."
"And YOU—"
He pointed at Kimi.
"—ARE MY TEAMMATE!"
"...Also correct."
George looked around the garage as if waiting for someone to explain the joke.
Nobody did.
Then something clicked.
His eyes slowly widened.
"The comments..."
Alex snorted.
George ignored him.
"The hoodie..."
Alex laughed louder.
"The bracelet..."
Carmen quietly nodded.
"The PHONE CALLS."
Kika covered her mouth.
"The shadow picture!"
George looked horrified.
"I COMMENTED ON THE SHADOW PICTURE!"
Alex doubled over laughing.
"Oh my God..."
George spun toward Alex.
"You knew?!"
Alex was laughing too hard to answer.
"You knew!"
Alex finally managed,
"I figured it out..."
"And you didn't tell me?!"
"I wanted to see how long it would take."
George looked personally betrayed.
"Carmen?"
She raised her hand.
"Guilty."
"Kika?"
"...Also guilty."
George slowly turned.
"Toto."
Everyone looked toward the back of the garage.
Toto had been standing there the entire time.
Coffee in hand.
Watching.
Smiling.
George pointed at him with the determination of a man who had finally solved a months-long mystery.
"You."
Toto took a calm sip of coffee.
"Yes?"
"You knew."
"For quite some time."
"And you said NOTHING?"
Toto shrugged.
"I was conducting... an observational study."
"On WHAT?"
"How long it would take you."
Alex wheezed.
George threw his hands into the air.
"EVERYONE KNEW EXCEPT ME?!"
A mechanic passing by answered without thinking.
".Pretty much."
The entire garage erupted into laughter.
George closed his eyes.
"I've been living with her."
"Yes."
"I drove him to the airport."
"Yes."
"I GAVE HIM DATING ADVICE!"
That was it.
Even Kimi couldn't hold it together anymore.
He laughed so hard he had to grab the nearest workbench.
George looked absolutely scandalized.
"I literally told you..."
He pointed at Kimi.
"...not to date someone's sister!"
Kimi was wiping tears from his eyes.
"I know."
"And you nodded!"
"I did."
"And you said you'd keep it in mind!"
"I meant to!"
George stared at him for a long moment.
Then let out the deepest sigh anyone in the Mercedes garage had ever heard.
"You know what?"
Everyone waited.
"I'm too tired for this."
He looked at you.
"You."
"...Yes?"
"We're having a conversation later."
"Fair."
He looked at Kimi.
"And you."
"...Yes?"
"You owe me dinner."
Kimi blinked.
"Dinner?"
"If you're dating my sister, you're at least buying me food."
Alex burst out laughing again.
"That's actually reasonable."
George nodded.
"I know."
Then he started walking toward the exit.
Halfway there, he stopped without turning around.
"Oh.."
Everyone froze.
"If either of you ever post another suspicious shadow picture..."
He pointed behind him.
"I'm unfollowing both of you."
The garage exploded into laughter once again, and even George couldn't stop the tiny smile that tugged at the corner of his mouth as he walked away, still muttering to himself.
"I can't believe I commented on that stupid photo.."

Helloooooo this is the extra part:
A week after George found out...
Life had become significantly more peaceful.
Well...
For you and Kimi.
For George?
Not so much.
He had discovered something horrifying.
Now that he knew Kimi was dating his little sister...
He physically could not stop thinking about it.
The three of you had somehow ended up walking through the paddock together.
It wasn't planned.
George had simply appeared.
Like an NPC with an unavoidable side quest.
"There you are."
You sighed.
"There he is."
"I heard that."
"You were supposed to."
Kimi, wisely, remained silent.
The walk lasted approximately...
Thirty-seven seconds.
Before George spoke.
"So."
You groaned.
"Oh no."
"What?"
"I know that 'so.'"
George ignored you.
"Kimi."
"...Yeah?"
"If you're going to date my sister..."
"I am."
George blinked.
"...Right."
"...Still getting used to saying that."
You patted his shoulder.
"We know."
He continued walking.
"Anyway."
"Dating advice."
You covered your face.
"Oh, for the love of God."
Kimi looked at you.
"Should I take notes?"
"No."
George pointed dramatically.
"Yes."
"Rule number one."
George raised one finger.
"Always listen."
Kimi nodded.
"I do."
George looked pleased.
"Excellent."
"She talks a lot."
You stopped walking.
"I do not."
George and Kimi looked at each other.
Neither of them said anything.
That somehow made it worse.
"I do not."
George finally spoke.
"You once told me the complete history of your favorite candle."
"It was interesting."
"It lasted forty-five minutes."
"It had context."
Kimi quietly added,
"...It did have context."
You looked at him.
"You are supposed to be on MY side."
"I am."
"You literally agreed with him."
"I'm agreeing carefully."
George continued.
"Rule number two."
He looked at Kimi very seriously.
"When she says she's 'fine.'"
Kimi nodded.
"Yeah?"
"She's not."
You gasped dramatically.
"George Russell!"
"What?"
"You are exposing me."
"I'm educating him."
"There is nothing to educate!"
George ignored you again.
"If she says, 'It's okay.'"
"It isn't."
"If she says, 'Do whatever you want.'"
"...Don't."
Kimi nodded as if this were the most valuable information he'd ever received.
"Got it."
You pointed at both of them.
"I hate this conversation."
George wasn't finished.
"Oh."
"And never ask where she wants to eat."
You frowned.
"...Excuse me?"
George looked at Kimi.
"She'll say she doesn't care."
"I don't always—"
"Then she'll reject every suggestion."
"I do not!"
Kimi looked between the two of you.
"...Last Tuesday."
You whipped your head toward him.
"You remember that?"
"You said no to Italian."
"I wasn't craving pasta."
"Then sushi."
"I wasn't feeling sushi."
"Burgers."
"Too greasy."
"Salads."
"I wanted something warm."
George folded his arms triumphantly.
"You ended up eating tacos."
You stared at both of them.
"...Why are you keeping records?"
George smiled proudly.
"You know..."
"I think I'm pretty good at this."
Kimi nodded.
"You've been very helpful."
You looked at your boyfriend in complete betrayal.
"Helpful?"
"He makes good points."
"Whose boyfriend are you?"
"Yours."
"Start acting like it."
"I am!"
"You've teamed up with my brother!"
George grinned.
"We're a united front."
"You've known him longer than you've dated me."
"That's not helping."
They reached the hospitality.
George grabbed a bottle of water.
"Oh."
"I almost forgot."
You groaned.
"There's more?"
"There is."
He turned toward Kimi.
"If she ever steals your hoodie..."
You interrupted.
"I borrowed one."
George raised an eyebrow.
"Borrowed?"
"Yes."
"Do you still have it?"
"..."
"..."
"...No."
George looked at Kimi.
"See?"
Kimi laughed.
"I wasn't getting that hoodie back."
"It smells like him!"
The words left your mouth before your brain could stop them.
Silence.
Complete silence.
You froze.
George slowly turned toward you.
"...It what?"
Your eyes widened.
"Oh no."
Kimi immediately looked at the ceiling.
Very interested in the ceiling.
"It..."
You desperately searched for an explanation.
"...Smells like..."
George waited.
"...Laundry detergent?"
George stared.
"...Laundry detergent."
"Yes."
Kimi bit the inside of his cheek so hard it almost hurt.
George looked at him.
"You."
Kimi immediately straightened up.
"Yes?"
"What detergent do you use?"
Kimi blinked.
"...I don't know."
George narrowed his eyes.
"...You don't know?"
"I just... put the little pod in."
Alex Albon chose that exact moment to walk in.
"What's going on?"
George pointed at Kimi.
"He doesn't know what detergent he uses."
Alex looked at Kimi.
"...Neither do I."
George looked horrified.
"You don't know either?"
Alex shrugged.
"I buy whatever's on sale."
George turned back to you.
"So..."
"You like..."
"...The smell of discounted detergent?"
You nodded immediately.
"Exactly."
Alex snorted.
"You know..."
"I don't think that's what she meant."
"Alex."
"What?"
"Don't."
"I'm just saying."
George looked between the three of you.
Then sighed.
"I've decided."
"Oh dear," you muttered.
"I'm never asking questions again."
Alex laughed.
"That's probably for the best."
George took one more sip of his water.
Then looked at Kimi.
"...Actually."
Kimi closed his eyes.
"There it is."
"One last piece of advice."
You buried your face in your hands.
"I'm leaving."
"You can't."
"I'd rather walk into traffic."
George ignored you.
"If she ever says.."
He looked dramatically at Kimi.
'I'm not cold.'
Kimi nodded.
"...Yeah?"
"She is."
You looked absolutely scandalized.
"I AM STANDING RIGHT HERE."
George smiled proudly.
"I know."
"And?"
"I'm helping him."
"You've spent twenty minutes exposing me!"
George shrugged.
"That's what big brothers are for."
You crossed your arms.
"I miss when you didn't know."
Kimi couldn't stop laughing anymore.
George looked confused.
"What?"
Kimi wiped a tear from the corner of his eye.
"...Nothing."
He slipped his hand into yours for just a second while George was busy talking to Alex about absolutely nothing.
You squeezed it once before letting go.
George turned back around.
"What are you two smiling about?"
You and Kimi answered at exactly the same time.
"Nothing."
George narrowed his eyes.
"I don't believe either of you."
Alex patted him on the shoulder.
"You never will."
George sighed dramatically.
"I liked life better when I thought they were just friends."
From the back of the room, Toto looked up from his coffee.
"I didn't."
The entire hospitality burst into laughter.
George pointed accusingly at Toto.
"You."
Toto smiled innocently.
"What?"
"I still blame you."
"I know."
"And I always will."
"A burden I'm willing to carry."
Alex laughed so hard he nearly spilled his coffee, while you leaned against Kimi's shoulder for half a second, trying to catch your breath between laughs.
Somehow...
This ridiculous little family had become your favorite part of race weekends.

Kimi had been looking at the small velvet box in his backpack for the last ten minutes.
Not because it was expensive.
It wasn't.
Not because it was flashy.
It definitely wasn't.
It was just... perfect for you.
A delicate silver bracelet with a tiny star charm.
You had pointed it out weeks ago while the two of you wandered through a bookstore that happened to have a little gift shop attached.
"It's pretty."
That was all you had said before continuing to look at books.
Kimi had remembered.
Of course he had.
The problem was getting it to you.
George had somehow become attached to your side for most of the morning.
Every time Kimi thought he finally had a chance...
There was George.
Breakfast.
George.
Media.
George.
Walking through the paddock.
George.
"Mate."
Kimi looked over.
George was standing beside him.
"You alright?"
"Yeah."
"You've looked at your backpack like five times."
Kimi immediately zipped it shut.
"I forgot something."
George nodded.
"Happens."
Crisis avoided.
Barely.
Hours later, after media and meetings had finally ended, Kimi spotted you slipping out the back of the hospitality building.
He waited a minute before following.
Just in case.
You were standing by the paddock fence, watching the sun begin to set over the circuit.
"You escaped."
You turned around with a smile that immediately made his day better.
"Barely."
"I've been trying to find you all day."
"I know."
You laughed.
"My brother accidentally became my bodyguard."
Kimi smiled.
"I noticed."
For a moment, neither of you spoke.
It had only been one day.
But somehow it felt much longer.
"I got you something."
Your eyes widened.
"Kimi..."
"It's nothing huge."
He reached into his backpack before placing the small box in your hands.
"I remembered."
You looked at him before carefully opening it.
The tiny silver bracelet caught the evening light.
Your face softened instantly.
"You remembered..."
"You liked it."
"I mentioned it once."
"You smiled when you looked at it."
Your eyes met his.
"You remember everything."
"When it's about you."
You laughed quietly, blinking a little faster than usual.
"You make it really hard not to cry."
"Please don't."
"Why?"
"Because then I'll cry too."
You smiled as he gently took the bracelet from the box.
"Can I?"
You nodded.
His fingers were careful as he fastened it around your wrist.
"There."
You looked down at the little star charm.
"I love it."
Relief immediately spread across his face.
"Really?"
"I would've loved it even if it was a keychain."
"I almost got you a keychain."
That made you laugh.
"I know."
He tilted his head.
"How?"
"Because you're you."
Before he could answer, you stepped closer and wrapped your arms around him.
The hug caught him completely by surprise.
"You know," you mumbled against his shoulder.
"Hm?"
"This is my favorite birthday gift."
His heart melted.
"You haven't even opened George's."
"I don't have to."
He laughed softly.
"I love you."
You pulled back just enough to look at him.
"I love you too."
He leaned down, pressing a gentle kiss to your forehead before resting his own against yours.
Five stolen minutes.
That was all they had.
But as you admired the little bracelet on your wrist and smiled up at him like he'd hung the stars himself...
Kimi decided five minutes with you would always be better than an entire day without you.

Kimi had decided two things.
First...
Race weekends were significantly less fun when you weren't there.
Second...
He was absolutely bored out of his mind.
Practice wasn't for another hour, the engineers were still looking through data, George had disappeared somewhere in the paddock, and Toto had threatened to "find him something productive to do" if he kept wandering around the garage.
So naturally...
He called you.
The phone rang twice before your face filled the screen.
Bright sunglasses rested on top of your head, your hair was slightly messy from the wind, and behind you, the ocean stretched endlessly under the afternoon sun.
"You escaped," Kimi smiled.
"So did you."
"I wish."
You laughed softly.
"How's race weekend?"
"Boring."
"You drive a Formula One car."
"Not right now."
"You are unbelievable."
He watched as you adjusted the phone, the sound of waves filling the brief silence between you.
"You went to the beach."
"I did."
"I'm jealous."
"You could've come."
"I had this tiny little commitment."
"Oh?"
"The whole Formula One thing."
"Right... that."
He smiled.
"I'd rather be there."
"You say that now."
"I mean it."
You raised an eyebrow.
"Even if I make you carry the beach umbrella?"
"I'd carry two."
"The cooler?"
"Yep."
"My bag?"
"Obviously."
"My flip-flops?"
"...that's pushing it."
You laughed, and Kimi couldn't help smiling with you.
"There she is."
"What?"
"Your laugh."
"You've become weirdly attached to it."
"I have."
A gust of wind blew a few strands of your hair across your face.
You frowned dramatically while trying to move them.
Kimi chuckled.
"Need help?"
"Oh, absolutely."
"I'll be there in... six hours?"
"Maybe seven with traffic."
"You're so helpful."
"I try."
You turned the camera for a moment, giving him a quick view of the sea, the waves gently rolling onto the shore.
"It looks nice."
"It is."
"I'm still jealous."
"You should be."
When the camera turned back to you, Kimi noticed something.
"You remembered."
"Hm?"
"The bracelet."
Without even thinking, your eyes dropped to your wrist.
The silver bracelet glistened in the sunlight.
"I told you I was going to wear it."
"I'm glad you are."
"I haven't taken it off."
His heart did that stupid little thing it always did around you.
"I noticed."
A comfortable silence settled between you.
Neither of you felt the need to fill it.
Just seeing each other was enough.
"So..." you said.
"What have you been doing?"
"I annoyed George."
"On purpose?"
"...maybe."
You laughed.
"What did you do?"
"I kept asking him if he wanted coffee."
"That's it?"
"He said no every time."
"And?"
"I asked him six times."
You covered your mouth to hide your laugh.
"You're impossible."
"I got bored."
"I can tell."
Before Kimi could answer, someone called his name from somewhere behind him.
He looked over his shoulder.
One of the engineers waved, signaling that the briefing was about to start.
He sighed dramatically.
"They need me."
"They usually do."
"I'd rather stay here."
"You have a race to win."
"I know."
"But I'd still rather stay."
You smiled, a little softer this time.
"Go."
"I don't want to."
"Kimi."
"I know."
He looked at you for another second.
"You'll text me later?"
"I always do."
"And send me pictures."
"I'll send you one if you stop asking George if he wants coffee."
"No deal."
You rolled your eyes fondly.
"You're lucky you're cute."
"I've been told."
"By who?"
"You."
"I've created a monster."
"You really have."
Another voice called his name.
Louder this time.
"Kimi!"
He sighed.
"I should go."
"You should."
He hesitated.
"Have fun at the beach."
"You have fun pretending not to miss me."
"I don't have to pretend."
Your smile was impossible to hide.
"I miss you too."
Neither of you said anything for a moment.
Then Kimi grinned.
"I'm hanging up before I say something that gets me in trouble."
"Smart decision."
"I have those occasionally."
"I'll believe it when I see it."
He laughed.
"Bye, pretty girl."
"Bye, race boy."
The call ended.
Kimi slipped his phone into his pocket, still smiling as he walked back toward the Mercedes garage.
An engineer noticed immediately.
"Good mood?"
Kimi only shrugged.
"Something like that."
Across the garage, Toto looked up from his laptop, spotted the smile on Kimi's face, and simply shook his head with an amused grin.
He didn't need to ask who had been on the other end of the call.
He already knew.

time skip to a race weekend
Coming back from the beach had been a mistake.
Not because you didn't have fun.
It had been one of your favorite days in a long time.
The mistake was returning to a Formula One paddock where your secret boyfriend, your older brother, and Toto Wolff all existed in the same building.
Somehow...
That combination never ended well.
The Mercedes hospitality was surprisingly quiet when you, Carmen and Kika walked in, still laughing over something that had happened at the beach.
"I still can't believe you buried my sandals," Carmen said, trying not to laugh.
"You left them unattended."
"For thirty seconds!"
"That's all we needed."
Kika grinned proudly.
"Teamwork."
You shook your head.
"I'm never trusting either of you again."
"You say that every time."
"Because every time you two prove me right."
The three of you walked further inside.
Engineers moved between rooms carrying laptops while members of the PR team hurried around preparing for the afternoon.
It felt like every other race weekend.
Normal.
Safe.
At least... for now.
"Kika!"
You all turned around.
Lily was waving from one of the tables.
"There you are!"
She walked over, immediately pulling Carmen into a hug before looking at you.
"Did you survive the beach?"
"Barely."
"She almost got taken away by the waves," Carmen said dramatically.
"That happened once."
"You screamed."
"The water was cold!"
The four of you laughed.
None of you noticed Toto walking into the hospitality behind you.
Coffee in hand, of course.
"Beach day?"
You turned around.
Toto smiled politely.
"It looked fun."
"It was," you answered.
"We definitely needed it."
"I can imagine."
He nodded before looking between the four of you.
"I'm glad all of you got some time to relax."
"So are we," Carmen smiled.
For a few seconds, the conversation stayed completely normal.
Until...
Toto looked directly at you.
"So..."
Uh oh.
You knew that tone.
"So?" you asked cautiously.
"Did Kimi survive without you?"
...
...
...
Silence.
Complete silence.
Even the coffee machine seemed quieter.
Your smile disappeared.
Kika blinked.
Lily frowned.
Carmen looked between you and Toto.
"...what?"
Your heart dropped into your stomach.
Toto's smile slowly disappeared too.
He blinked.
Once.
Twice.
"Oh."
He had realized.
You closed your eyes.
Please.
Please tell me he wasn't about to make this worse.
"I'm sorry," Toto said slowly.
"I thought..."
He looked at you.
Then at the girls.
Then back at you.
"...they knew."
"They knew what?" Carmen asked.
Nobody answered.
Kika slowly turned toward you.
"Y/n..."
You stared at Toto.
Toto stared back.
For the first time since he'd found out about your relationship...
He actually looked nervous.
"...Oops."
You wanted to cry.
"What," Carmen repeated.
"Does."
"That."
"Mean."
You laughed.
Not because anything was funny.
Because your brain had completely stopped functioning.
"It means..."
You started.
Nothing came out.
Lily crossed her arms.
"It means what?"
Toto quietly took another sip of coffee.
A man accepting his fate.
"Y/n."
Carmen's voice had become dangerously calm.
"Were you going to tell us something?"
You looked around the room desperately.
There had to be an emergency.
A fire alarm.
An earthquake.
Anything.
Instead...
You made eye contact with Kimi.
Who had just walked into the hospitality.
Perfect timing.
He smiled when he saw you.
Then noticed everyone staring.
Then noticed Toto.
Then noticed your expression.
His smile disappeared instantly.
He walked over carefully.
"Everything okay?"
Nobody answered.
Carmen looked at him.
Then at you.
Then back at him.
Slowly...
Very slowly...
Her eyes widened.
"No..."
Kika gasped.
"Oh my God."
Lily covered her mouth.
"No way."
Kimi looked at Toto.
"What happened?"
Toto pointed at himself.
"I may have..."
"You did."
"...accidentally..."
"You absolutely did."
"...said something."
Kimi closed his eyes.
"Toto."
"I'm aware."
"Toto."
"I know."
"You told them?"
"I thought they already knew."
"They did not."
"I know that now."
Carmen looked between the two of you.
Then suddenly...
Everything clicked.
The hoodie.
The bracelet.
The comments.
The birthday.
The constant smiling.
The suspicious FaceTime excuses.
"KIMI?!"
Half the hospitality looked over.
You immediately covered your face.
"Carmen!"
"What?!"
"You've been dating KIMI?!"
"Please lower your voice."
She lowered it.
Very slightly.
"You've been dating Kimi?"
"...yes."
"For how long?"
You looked at Kimi.
Kimi looked at you.
"A few months."
Kika's jaw literally dropped.
"A FEW MONTHS?"
"Kika..."
"A FEW MONTHS?!"
Lily pointed at you.
"I ASKED YOU IF THERE WAS SOMEONE."
"I know."
"You LIED."
"I technically avoided the question."
"THAT'S STILL LYING."
Carmen suddenly pointed at Kimi.
"I knew something was weird."
"You did?"
"The comments!"
"The comments?"
"You comment on EVERYTHING she posts."
Kimi looked genuinely confused.
"I thought I was being subtle."
All three girls stared at him.
"No."
"Oh."
"You comment within two minutes."
"I have notifications."
"We know."
"...Oh."
Kika looked at you.
"The bracelet."
You slowly nodded.
"He gave it to you?"
"Yes."
"Oh my God."
"The hoodie?"
You looked at Kimi.
"...his."
"The beach pictures?"
"Carmen took them."
Toto quietly raised his hand.
"I did know that one."
Everyone looked at him.
He slowly lowered his hand again.
"Sorry."
Carmen suddenly started laughing.
Really laughing.
"You know what's actually hilarious?"
"What?"
She looked at Kimi.
"George."
Kimi groaned immediately.
"Oh no."
"He has absolutely no idea!"
"He really doesn't."
"He thinks you're too sensible to date his sister!"
Kika laughed so hard she nearly had to sit down.
"No!"
"He literally defended Kimi!"
Lily looked completely horrified.
"Wait..."
"He DEFENDED HIM?"
You nodded.
"He said Kimi would never date his teammate's sister."
The girls burst into laughter again.
Even Toto couldn't hide his smile.
"I admit..."
He said.
"...that was one of my favorite conversations."
"You enjoyed that?"
Kimi asked.
"Very much."
Finally, Carmen walked over to you.
"So..."
You looked up nervously.
"You love him?"
You smiled without even thinking.
"Yeah."
She looked at Kimi.
"You better not hurt her."
"I won't."
"I'm serious."
"So am I."
For a second...
The room was quiet.
Then Kika clapped her hands together.
"Okay!"
Everyone looked at her.
"When are we helping?"
"...Helping?"
She looked offended.
"Keeping this from George."
Lily nodded immediately.
"Oh, absolutely."
Carmen grinned.
"We're taking this secret to the grave."
You blinked.
"You're... not mad?"
Carmen wrapped an arm around your shoulders.
"We're offended you didn't tell us."
Kika nodded.
"Very offended."
Lily smiled.
"But honestly..."
She looked between you and Kimi.
"...you two are disgustingly cute."
Kimi smiled.
You rolled your eyes.
"I knew you'd say that."
"And we're right."
Before anyone could answer, Carmen pointed dramatically at Toto.
"You."
Toto blinked.
"Me?"
"If George finds out because of you..."
Toto immediately raised both hands.
"I've learned my lesson."
"You have not."
"...Probably not."
The girls laughed.
Toto sighed dramatically.
"I suppose I should stop accidentally revealing secrets."
"You think?" you asked.
He smiled.
"In my defense..."
Everyone stared at him.
"...I really thought they knew."
"You are never beating the allegations," Kimi muttered.
"The allegations?"
"That you enjoy garage drama."
Toto smiled into his coffee.
"I have no idea what you're talking about."
Nobody believed him.
Not for a second.

If there was one thing Kimi had learned over the past few months, it was this:
George Russell loved giving advice.
Whether you asked for it or not.
Unfortunately for Kimi...
Today's topic happened to be dating.
The two Mercedes drivers had just finished a simulator session and were walking back toward the garage, helmets tucked under their arms.
George stretched his shoulders before glancing over at Kimi.
"So..."
Kimi already knew that tone.
"So?"
"I saw your story."
"...Okay?"
"The shadow one."
"Oh."
George nodded thoughtfully.
"You seeing someone?"
Kimi nearly walked into a toolbox.
"What?"
"You don't have to tell me if you don't want to."
Kimi laughed nervously.
"I... don't know what you're talking about."
George gave him a knowing smile.
"Come on, mate."
"You can tell me."
Kimi stared straight ahead.
"I think you're mistaken."
"Mhm."
George wasn't convinced for a second.
They walked in silence for another moment before George spoke again.
"If there is someone..."
Kimi sighed internally.
"...yeah?"
"Treat her right."
Kimi's expression softened.
"I will."
George smiled.
"Good."
They stopped near the engineering room, where the rest of the team was still setting up for the afternoon.
George leaned against the counter.
"You know..."
"I've never actually asked."
"Asked what?"
"What your type is."
Kimi blinked.
"My type?"
"Yeah."
Kimi tried to think of an answer that didn't describe you exactly.
"I don't know."
George frowned.
"You have to know something."
"I guess..."
He smiled to himself.
"Someone kind."
George nodded approvingly.
"Good start."
"Funny."
"Mhm."
"Smart."
"Reasonable."
"And..."
Kimi hesitated.
"Someone who makes me feel at home."
George smiled.
"That's a good one."
"It is?"
"Yeah."
He shrugged.
"Relationships should feel easy."
Kimi couldn't help thinking about you.
How every stolen five minutes somehow made the rest of his day better.
"You're right."
"I usually am."
George folded his arms.
"And one more thing."
Kimi braced himself.
"If you ever date someone's sister..."
Kimi's heartbeat immediately doubled.
"...don't."
"..."
"..."
"It's not worth the stress."
Kimi had to bite the inside of his cheek to stop himself from laughing.
George continued completely seriously.
"You'll have the brother trying to kill you."
"I can imagine."
"I know I would."
Kimi nodded slowly.
"I'll... keep that in mind."
"You should."
George patted him on the shoulder.
"Find someone with no protective siblings."
"That sounds safer."
"Much safer."
At that exact moment, you walked into the garage carrying two coffees.
"George."
"There you are."
"I brought your coffee."
"The best sister ever."
George took the cup before noticing the second one.
"Who's that for?"
Your eyes met Kimi's for the briefest second.
"The marketing team."
George nodded without another thought.
"Makes sense."
"Yep."
He took another sip before looking back at Kimi.
"See?"
Kimi tilted his head.
"See what?"
"My sister's nice."
Kimi smiled.
"She is."
George grinned proudly.
"Exactly."
He walked away toward the engineers, blissfully unaware.
The second he was out of earshot, you casually changed direction and handed the second coffee to Kimi.
"I heard the whole conversation."
Kimi accepted it with a laugh.
"I'm sorry."
"He told you not to date someone's sister, didn't he?"
"He gave me a full speech."
You covered your mouth to hide your smile.
"And you survived?"
"Barely."
You shook your head, amused.
"My poor boyfriend."
He smiled at the word.
"Your brother gives surprisingly good advice."
"He does."
"...It's just unfortunate that I'm breaking all of it."
You laughed softly before squeezing his hand for just a second—hidden by the garage cabinets.
"Good thing you're worth it."
Kimi looked down at your intertwined fingers before back at you.
"I was hoping you'd say that."
Then, just as quickly as you'd stolen the moment, you let go and walked toward the hospitality.
A few seconds later, George looked back.
"Kimi!"
He turned.
"Yeah?"
"You coming?"
Kimi smiled to himself.
"Yeah."

The paddock always felt different on race day.
The garage buzzed with engineers making last-minute adjustments, mechanics hurried from one side to the other, and somewhere in the distance, the unmistakable sound of Formula One engines echoed through the circuit.
It was organized chaos.
The one place that wasn't chaotic, however, was Kimi's driver's room.
At least for a few minutes.
A soft knock came from the door.
Kimi looked up from where he was adjusting his race gloves.
"Come in."
The door opened just enough for you to peek your head inside.
"Am I interrupting?"
His face immediately softened.
"Never."
You smiled before slipping inside and quietly closing the door behind you.
"I only have a minute."
"A minute is enough."
You walked over until you were standing in front of him.
Already dressed in his race suit, he somehow still looked calm, even if you knew better.
"You nervous?"
He let out a small laugh.
"A little."
"A little?"
"Okay..."
He rubbed the back of his neck.
"More than a little."
"I knew it."
"You make it sound like it's a bad thing."
"It's not."
You reached for his hands, gently intertwining your fingers with his.
"It means you care."
He looked down at your joined hands before smiling.
"I guess."
For a moment, neither of you spoke.
The sounds from outside disappeared.
It was just the two of you.
You gave his hands a gentle squeeze.
"Hey."
"Hm?"
"You're going to do amazing today."
He smiled.
"You have to say that."
"I don't."
"You kind of do."
You shook your head.
"No, I don't."
He looked at you curiously.
"I've seen how hard you work."
"You spend more time at the factory than anyone."
"You watch every bit of onboard footage."
"You ask a million questions."
"And somehow..."
You smiled.
"...you still think you're not ready."
Kimi looked down.
"I just don't want to let anyone down."
"You won't."
"What if I do?"
"You won't."
"But—"
You stepped a little closer.
"Kimi."
He met your eyes.
"You belong here."
The words settled over him.
"You've earned every lap."
"Every race."
"Every opportunity."
"So today..."
You gently straightened the collar of his race suit.
"...don't drive trying to prove people wrong."
His eyes never left yours.
"Drive because you know you deserve to be here."
A quiet smile spread across his face.
"You always know what to say."
"I try."
"No..."
He shook his head softly.
"You always make everything feel easier."
Your heart melted.
"I could say the same about you."
He chuckled.
"I don't think that's true."
"It is."
You reached up, brushing an imaginary piece of lint off his shoulder.
"I know that no matter what happens out there..."
"...I'll still be proud of you."
His smile turned into something softer.
Something only you got to see.
"I don't think I've thanked you enough."
"For what?"
"For always believing in me."
You smiled.
"You never have to thank me for that."
The room fell quiet again.
You glanced toward the door.
"I should probably let you go."
"You probably should."
Neither of you moved.
Instead, Kimi gently cupped your cheek.
"You'll be watching?"
"Every lap."
"You'll wave if I see you?"
"I'll probably be the loudest person in the garage."
He laughed quietly.
"I'll look for you."
"You better."
He leaned down, giving you plenty of time to pull away if you wanted.
You didn't.
Your lips met in a soft, lingering kiss.
Nothing rushed.
Nothing dramatic.
Just a quiet reminder before the chaos of race day began.
When you finally pulled back, you rested your forehead against his.
"Good luck."
"I love you."
You smiled.
"I love you too."
A knock on the door made you both jump.
"Kimi?" one of the engineers called from outside.
"Five minutes."
Kimi cleared his throat.
"Coming."
You couldn't help but giggle.
"I should definitely go."
"Probably."
You opened the door, then looked back one last time.
"Go show them what you can do."
He smiled, confidence replacing the nerves that had been there only minutes before.
"I will."
With one last smile, you slipped back into the busy paddock.
As the door closed behind you, Kimi glanced at his reflection in the mirror.
He was still nervous.
But now...
He couldn't wait to get in the car.
I ran out of space to write but the third part is coming today I promise !!
