Or do you simply love to appreciate the music from another country? If the answer to one or more of these question is yes, then this blog is for you!
Hi, I'm Cath (any pronouns) and this blog is meant to find absolute bangers across genres, languages and cultures! I believe that music, just like food, can bring people from all path of life to connect and understand each other better! Music is very important as it serves as a powerful weapon against oppressive power and is a mean to preserve and connect to your roots which deserves to be celebrated wherever you come from! I myself love to share music in my language to non-french speaker and listening to music from all over the world!
A few rules:
You can submit a song or an album.
Can be from anywhere, whether it's a country or a region! Although this blog prioritize posting about music in languages other than English, Korean or Japanese, feel free to send them nonetheless, especially if they're more niche or from artists from lesser known parts of the world speaking these languages!
No mainstream music. For exemple : Celine Dion, Taylor Swift, ABBA. This doesn't apply if it's considered mainstream in your country/region/language but not internationally. For exemple: "Les Cowboys Fringants" are a mainstream quebecois band in Quebec but are not really know outside the french speaking sphere.
Don't worry about it being ultra niche either! Anything between 5 and 10 million listeners is cool!
All genres are accepted! Yes, even noise music aka nails on a chalkboard (literally)
