Cut Copy is a synthpop band formed in 2001 in Melbourne, Australia, and made up of Dan Whitford (lead vocals/keys/guitar), Tim Hoey (bass/guitar), Mitchell Scott (drums) and Ben Browning (bass/synthesiser), Bennett Foddy being a former member. Their sound is much in the vein of contemporaries such as Daft Punk drawing considerable influence from older bands such as New Order, Electric Light Orchestra and Kraftwerk.

The band gained recognition in the United Kingdon and United States during 2006 and 2007 due to the success of their single "Young Folks" whilst staying virtually unknown in their homeland, Sweden.

Club 8 are an indie pop duo from Stockholm, Sweden consisting of Karolina Komstedt and Johan Angergård.

Mando Diao are a rock band from Borlänge, Sweden. According to the band, the name Mando Diao has no meaning at all, but rather appeared to band member Bjorn Dixgard in a dream. Their sound is influenced by The animals and Oasis.

Residing in the capital of Stockholm, Sweden, the duo quietly crafted the nine tracks that make up 2011's debut album "Hearts" throughout stolen moments gathered up since their formation in 2008.

One of the group's distinguishing characteristics is their unwillingness to cooperate with the media or the mainstream music scene. The group rarely makes public appearances. 

They have around 30 band members and use an eclectic mix of instruments such as clarinets, saxophones, flutes, trumpets, banjos, accordions, kazoos, guitars, drums, and keyboards among others. While most band members provide backing vocals on releases and during live performances, Emanuel Lundgren is founder, principal songwriter and lead singer for the group.
