The Treasure distribution team settled into the place they would be staying. As the group of women prepared the chicken curry for the next day, the youth group built a temporary building for the gathering.
At 9:00 AM the next morning, the Treasures were introduced to the 120 villagers. The villagers are poor and the children do not attend school. Most of the adults only attended gov’t school as very young children. They speak Burmese but do not read or write. When the Treasures (the Word of God in their Burmese language) were given to them, they were overjoyed and grateful. They gathered in groups to listen. They were very curious to know more about God. After the message of salvation was presented to them, about 40 stood to accept Jesus as Savior by confessing with their mouth. After the meeting many stayed after to ask questions about this Jesus. “As there is no church here, we firmly believe that the Lord will give us the opportunity to see a great and successful, Spirit-filled church established.” The above was reported by the World Mission national partner. Other distributions took place on this same trip. Similar results were reported in the other locations too. Pray for more lives to be changed by the Word of God.
