Backstory!

Dan was born in the 1950's and died in the early 80's. He was 30 when he died. In life, Dan was an okay person. He was a bit of a bully but ultimately had a good heart. His fatal flaw was his love of driving fast. He would street race every chance he got and he was pretty good at it. He had a major issue though which was his narcolepsy. For most of his life, he learned to power through but on the night he died, he lost that fight. Dan fell asleep behind the wheel and crashed into another car. He wasn't wearing a seat belt and flew through the windshield into the other car. The other car had four people inside. Dan and two of the others died on impact. One of the other passengers passed in the hospital the next day and the sole survivor lost their ability to walk. This accident is what got Dan sent to hell.

In hell, Dan was cursed with his sheepish form to remind him of the accident. His narcolepsy, however, became his strength in hell. He was able to put others at ease just by being near them and if he tried hard enough, he could force others to sleep. He became known for his alluring charm and found himself in front of a certain overlords casino.

At Husk's Casino, Dan thrived. He made the most money from unlucky sinners that any of Husk's other demons. Dan charmed and lulled patrons into making the wrong choices so that they never won. Husk liked Dan, after all he made him money and people rarely fought on the nights Dan worked. Husk quickly made Dan a close confidant.
