Candidate will carry a small book of business in collection of association assessment and foreclosure. Current Firm is closing. Salary expectation $90-120K. Will be available at the end of April. CONFIDENTIAL LAW FIRM: 2001 to present - Specialty: Insurance Litigation, Community Association, Collection Enforcement of Assessments, including foreclosure, Complex Commercial Litigation, Insurance Coverage Dispute, and Civil Rights. - Handles own case load and litigation through and including trial: preparing pleadings, motions, memoranda of law, taking depositions, attending mediation and arbitration, preparing jury instructions and motions in limine. - Provides early evaluation of legal issues and exposure with a cost/benefit analysis of proceedings with an aggressive defense of a case. - Meets with clients and develops trial strategy based on clients needs and recommendations. Litigates each case in full. - Represents corporations in commercial litigation matters and administrative proceedings. - Serves as in-house counsel for a property management corporation, providing legal advice to top management on business and operations, drafting and negotiating management services agreements, and securing regulatory compliance - Serves as general counsel for a community association, providing legal advice to board of directors, drafting and negotiating services agreements, securing regulatory compliance, assisting community association in collecting maintenance, including foreclosure, managing outside counsel handling selected litigation, representing it in court and before quasi-judicial and administrative agencies of government BAR ADMISSIONS: Florida Bar (1998) U.S. District, Southern District U.S. District, Middle District U.S. Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit.
