They don't just lose consciousness after they're done helping you. You don't have the time or resources to raise them—but what are you supposed to do?

No one has explored the blinding lands in almost a decade now, as they know they'd return without your sight.

It's kind of difficult to come to terms with the fact that you're not real, so you didn't.

You practically begged the universe to bring them back after their death, so why so long after you'd come to terms with it?

You were to be the new ruler of your country to its citizens, but behind closed doors, you were nothing but a face for the true monarch. A smile for them to twist as they pleased.

Something about this place makes you want to forget, but you still have a job to get done.

You've never been a fan of that series, but it's hung up in the meticulous (and frankly overthought) way you like to hang your posters.

Either someone broke into your room, studied your technique, and found your blue tack just to hang up a poster for a show you don't watch, or you did watch it, but the entire show's been scrubbed clean from your mind.
