So what do you think about a theory oriented KPop channel

Hey guys. I have been wondering about starting a multifandom YouTube channel that is more theory oriented with video essays. By theory I don't mean music video theory, but actually cultural and film theory. I have been working on some ideas but I wonder if people will be interested.

I have seen that people often dismiss K-pop as juvenile and immature and merely a pastime. Over years of being a K-pop Fan, I have seen it as an astounding platform with great potential and a medium that has mastered it's own aesthetic.

Anime, comics, films all have theory channels dedicated to them and that allows people to see them as more nuanced and valid. Even American pop is a subject of study on its own. So I think it makes sense to have something like that for KPop. Especially when we have all kinds of intellectual discussions happening in writing, but nothing in the audio visual format.

So, would you like something like this? Would you enjoy Video essays on K-pop? Opinions will be appreciated. Kthx I'm out 💓
