1. If you could design the perfect life, what would it entail? If I could design a perfect life, it would be to have a career and life path that I don’t need a vacation from. I feel like everyone is trying to run away from reality, but I believe in creating your own reality that you truly enjoy in a day to day life.Â
2. Yesterday’s dreams aren’t always today’s reality. What drives you now? Compared to last year, or even two or five years ago. What drives me currently is my business which constantly growing. Waking up every day and chasing my dreams and being my own boss. I love having the power to choose what I want every day for myself.Â
3. What’s something that overwhelms you? Something that overwhelms me is not being happy with where my life is going. I never want to feel trapped or out of control of a situation.Â

What’s one thing that bothers you most about the world today? I honestly can’t stand rude or judgemental people. Unfortunately, the world is full of them today.
What do you think when you’re by yourself? I am learning to think more about myself these days and learning how to put myself first. This year, I realized that I wasn’t doing enough of that. It comes from a place of self-love. Trying to be more in tune with my body, my energy, my thinking, what I’m putting out in the universe, and what I’m receiving back. At this stage of my life, I am constantly thinking about my health, my goals, my emotional/mental wellbeing. You learn to build more confidence, and courage because you become at peace with who you are, and the hard work you put into becoming a better YOU!
What’s one thing that people always misunderstand about you? People tend to misunderstand my attitude during a first encounter. I’m usually quite guarded when I meet new people, and sometimes it comes off as being rude or short. I’m actually quite outgoing, but it just takes me a bit of time to open up.
1. What does it mean to live a good life? I believe that living a good life means finding your unique purpose in this world and finding a way to live in that eery day. If you can build a life where, no matter how big or small, you are living where your deep gladness and the world’s deep hunger meet, you will live a good life.
2. What should be the goal of humanity? I think the goal of humanity should be to live life in such a way that you, everyone around you, and after you can experience life to its absolute full potential. This might look like being a doctor who chose to practice medicine in the best interest of patients rather than the pharmaceutical companies, or being a teacher who ensures that as many children as possible have access to the education they deserve, being a politician who helps to protect the Earth and passes laws to keep it clean for future generations, or a mother or father who provides their children with a stable and loving environment to grow and chase their dreams. Our goal should live and leave this life better than how it was when we got here.Â
3. If someone you loved was killed in front of you, but someone created a copy of them that was perfect right down to the atomic level, would they be the same person and would you love them just as much? If the person I loved was killed and replaced with a perfect version of themselves, it would not be the same to me. I’m sure I would still love them, but I wouldn’t prefer this new version over the old. I think that without the human imperfection, we aren’t able to experience real love. Real love comes with the risk. The vulnerability that lives within true love says, “I know your imperfect, and that your imperfections have the potential to hurt me deeply, but I choose to trust you, to open my heart, and love you anyway.” Without that risk, love wouldn’t have the same depth to its significance. It would be easy. And nothing worth having comes easy.
1.  What is your current state of mind? A state of clarity. I spent many years using my creativity strictly to supply an income. The beginning of this last year afforded me the opportunity to make art purely for the sake of it. I still don’t know if I fully resonate as an artist or what I believe an artist is but I know I love to visually tell a story. It has been freeing and in turn, I think I am producing higher quality work than I ever have before.Â
2. What do you consider as your greatest achievement? The birth of my son and more importantly the years after that I didn’t completely lose my identity as a person outside of being a mom. I didn’t think much about it before he was born but as a mother, you are all consumed with feeding and caring for a child that it can be very easy to let your needs and dreams slip by for a period of time. You are overwhelmed with love for this small being that wanting anything for yourself can make you feel tremendously guilty. I made it a priority this last year to be 100% present the days I’m with my 3-year-old son but the days he goes to school are for me. I use that time to go in my home studio to create. It took a while to adjust to this schedule as sometimes I didn’t feel in the creative mood on those specific days but with time I have found ways to make the most of it. I have felt so creative and inspired and I love that my son gets to see that I have a life and a craft that I love.Â
3. If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what would it be? and why? I think I could be pretty content if I was reincarnated to be a dining table in a loving home. Specifically a solid white oak one with years of wear. Imagine the stories you would hear every meal and the laughter and conversations with the groups gathered around it. Even the occasional family bickering. I grew up in a very small family as an only child and we never ate dinner together. My greatest memories growing up are the nights I spent having dinner with my best friends family. There were so many stories we shared with her parents about school and our big ideas and we would almost always make each other laugh so hard we got excused from the table at some point. I am always intrigued by a great conversation.Â

1. What was the best phase of your life? Best phase of my life is RIGHT NOW! I feel so confident & so myself! I have amazing kids, an amazing husband, and a business to call my own! Starting my own business brought so much to my life & made me appreciate all that I have! I wish I felt like I do now in my 20’s! Learn more about her business: skin-solutions.rodanandfields.com
2. What was the worst phase of your life? I would say the worst phase of my life would be my late teens - early twenties! I had zero confidence in myself & tried to be something I wasn’t!
3. What’s the one thing that people misunderstand about you? That I have it all together! I am a hot mess mom/wife most of the time lol!
1. What is your motivation behind your artworks? I do it because I always have, there is no motivation.Â
2. What makes you happy right now? Food.
3. What experiences in your life that vastly contributed to your artistry? Nothing in particular. I just do it when I have time or after I watched a Youtube video with a cool way of doing it.
4. What do you consider as a failure? Nothing really is a failure.Â
5. If a 100 people will stop what they’re doing for 10 seconds to listen wholeheartedly, what will you tell them? We’re all the same so stop trying to be above anyone else.
What do you consider as your greatest achievement so far? My greatest achievement so far would be my solo trip I completed across Africa, from South Africa to Egypt, on local buses that took me over a year.
If you can have 100 people stop whatever they are doing at the moment to listen to you wholeheartedly for 10 seconds, what will you tell them? I would tell them that gratitude is a magnet for miracles and fear is simply something we create for ourselves. When we push past fear, that is when we truly crack open, transform, and become the best versions of ourselves and create the lives we desire. Being of service and supporting others is what also brings that into your life. No one gets anywhere alone. Use your power to create a strong positive ripple effect in this world because like a boomerang - it will come back to you.Â
How do you want the world to remember you? As a fearless, inspiring female leader whom helped countless others to also achieve greatness in their lives.

What is your favorite word? There’s so many, I actually have a list when I was growing up and when I was doing speech therapy. I always like words that sound different and the way they feel when I say it.
What is your least favorite word? I hate the words, fleshy and moist. I also don’t like the name Emily and Sarah just because how it feels when I say it, but I don’t hate the person.Â
How would you like to die? I like this kind of questions, I don’t prefer small talks. I wanna go out cool, I want people to say… “Oh, you know how she died?!” Maybe being 80 years old and dying from a heart attack at a rave. I think I’ll know closer to death, the worst is dying suddenly when you’re young and not being able to say goodbye to your family.Â
If you find out that you’re dying, who would you tell first? Definitely my parents but it is something that I would not tell a lot of people about. I always never let anybody know so they won’t treat me any different or pity me.Â
What is your idea of perfect happiness? Freedom is a big thing for me. Being tied down to one place or having constant in my life won’t make me happy. Staying behind the white picket fence is not for me, I can’t stay in one spot. For other people, we live in a very materialistic world wherein we hold on to many things and I believe people are not meant to do that.Â
What is your current state of mind? I’m 19 and at this point in my life, I think about how from all of a sudden being kid to starting a job and living real life.Â
How is the transition from childhood to adulthood? It is so sudden. Today a lot of times they’ll cuddle their children and protect them from the world which is okay but being sheltered and being dependent, you’ll never build those skills to be on your own.
What do you consider as your greatest achievement? The lives I’ve influenced. When I started modeling, I’ve never thought that my little face will reach many people around the world and touched their lives.Â
In what way did you influence them? I’ve never had a lot of friends and always isolated, I learned how to encouraged people to open up.
Do you find it draining or exhausting (Being a prominent figure in social media)? I try to listen because you never know if you’re the only person they can talk to you about this. I try not to give advise because everybody has their own life but when I do and it happens again then maybe a little bit. But I truly enjoy listening to people open up to me.Â
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? Physically, I always wished I’m a little bit taller. Emotionally, I find lying to myself a lot where I’ll catch myself blaming other people instead of acknowledging what I can control. I’m still working on it where I catch myself saying, it is really my fault and that is okay as long as I don’t do it again.Â
What is your greatest struggle so far? Finding out where I stand in this lovely world of ours.Â
What do you do for self-care? Napping and I enjoy reading.Â
What is your motto in life? Do you know the Beatles song, The Ballad of John and Yoko, there’s a line that says, The only thing you take is your soul and I think that is true.
What do you look forward to the most in life? School as I’m starting university this fall, taking up designing.
If all the people here will stop what they’re doing and will listen to you, no judgments and wholeheartedly, what will you tell them? What you’re worried about right now will probably won’t matter in a year.Â
If heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates? I want to see my statistics like how many people I pissed or inspired and most of all.. how many people I helped.Â
What is your favorite word? Feliz, it means happy.Â
What is your least favorite word? A bad word such as “Fuck you”, it’s a really strong word that I don’t like. Do you use it a lot? Sometimes, when I get really angry.
What turns you on? A sense of humor. Funny people are my people.
What turns you off? Being judgemental, mind your own business and let people be themselves.
What is your idea of perfect happiness? Being at peace with myself. The feeling that I can handle everything or control the things that can happen and let go of the things I can’t. Is that a work in progress? I think I’m really happy right now.
Which living person do you admire the most? My parents. That’s why I’m here because of them. I came here alone at first then my dad found a job, my mom came afterward, and finally we’re getting our citizenship this Friday, that’s a big step for us.
What is the best year of your life so far? 2017. I ended a really toxic relationship that lasted 3 years. I went to Thailand and I was teaching English. I was helping kids who were struggling with money. 2017 for me was about discovering myself and it allowed me to do what I do now.Â
Is it difficult to end a toxic relationship? It was really hard. I knew that person loved me and I loved that person but we loved each other in different ways. That is something that I learned, you can love someone but that person would like to be loved in another way and you can’t be together because I am expecting something else that you would never be able to give me.Â
When did you have the courage to end it? After getting back from Thailand. When I was in Thailand, I was myself and realized that I did not need someone. I also recognized that I spent a lot of time not being happy, laughing, or being silly and that’s who I am.Â
How do you want to die? Being old. Like being a 100-years old.Â
What is your current state of mind? I want to make the business better.Â
How can you help make the world a better place? By being kind to other people. Honestly, just simply being nice to people and trying to listen to what they’re saying. If I want to know how people are doing I will actually ask them and take the time to listen, not just saying “How are you?” to be polite.Â
What is your motto in life? We rise by lifting others. I believe that the more you help others, the better you feel about yourself.Â
What do you consider as your greatest achievement? Being able to move here and just be me - and to stop caring about what other people think about myself.Â
What is something you would like to try that is outside your comfort zone? Starting a spin studio. It’s something that I’ve been wanting to do for a long time but I was not yet brave enough to try it. I finally completed my whole training and started it. I knew that one day I’m gonna teach. I love making people feel good and achieve their goals.Â
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? I need to be more accepting of certain things. Sometimes, I get sad because I start thinking how my life used to be so I need to accept that I’m here and I need to live the “here and now” - to enjoy what I have and not what I used to have. Like when my parents came here they have to work compared to back home where we are really in a good situation.Â
How was life back home? (Venezuela) It was way better. Which is usually not the case right? I left in the right year, now I can’t go back and have the same life I had, even if I wanted to I couldn’t. I was happy because I was young, my parents were in a really good situation and money-wise. We have our whole life planned and figured-out and I did not have to worry about money and then I had to grow up really fast because I was left here alone without knowing the language. I came here when I was 18 and I did not have any friends or family. It’s really scary but people here are really accepting and nice.
If the people around here will stop what they are doing and will listen to you, what will you tell them? To stay active and stop caring about what other people think about them, you just need to be yourself. How do you get to that place? When I was in Thailand, I stayed there for two months and I traveled alone sleeping on the floor, eating rice and eggs - it humbles you.Â
What’s the benefit of attending your fitness training/class? If you’re looking to lose weight or to build and tone muscles but it gives you hope with many things like if you come in and you’re stress, listening to music and someone telling you to “go faster” it helps you to forget about your problems, at least for an hour and that’s going to help you live a better life.
