I've been working with a great group of people to organize, "Take Back the Fight: Resisting Sexual Violence from the Ground Up," Interference Archive's summer exhibition. We've partnered in a big way with The Lesbian Herstory Archives to present some incredible archival materials, as well as contemporary materials created by contemporary artist/activists. Like, a quilt from The Monument Quilt, an evolving collection of stories from survivors of rape and abuse; Bordados (embroideries) by the organization Bordamos Feminicidios based in Mexico created in response to feminicide; and a new installation by intergenerational healing village Harrietās Apothecary. More info here: http://interferencearchive.org/take-back-the-fight/ Hope you can visit! Exhibition Opening: June 1, 7-10pm (at Interference Archive)
