hi! I say this with all the love in my heart, and I really hope this doesn’t come across as rude, but I just feel I should lyk that having hairs that are high poly is very detrimental to the game. I’ve also noticed that you don’t include hat chops in your hairs, which additionally in my experience making hairs creates quite a bit of additional lag (+it takes like 5 seconds to make). I say this as someone with several years of experience 3D modeling and creating personal cc for the sims. I’m sorry, your hairs are beautiful! I would love to have them in my game, but I can’t do that without retopologizing and baking my normals from high to low, (which visually you almost can’t tell the difference between a 7k poly hair and a 50k poly hair if the normals are baked!) as any single item above 40k makes my laptop overheat and my game gets visual glitches, which I’ve noticed happening when I try to use your hairs in game. I hope this isn’t mean, I just think you should consider trying to lower poly count if possible, or at least warning players on lower end laptops to consider passing over this item (I’m sure a lot of ppl know that high poly=bad for game, but just in case). I mean this in a constructive way, I really do.

hey hey, no worries you're not being rude at all and i appreciate the constructive criticism! so i'll answer your ask as you've written it and explain it as i go, and hopefully it won't be a long read. yes i totally agree with your comment my hairs do unfortunately end up being gigantic and honestly i've consulted with a moderator on s4s and their recommendation (subdivision at 2 with the resolution preview at 1-2) had me with a hair at 600k polygons so i 've been making them without subdividing them. i also don't know how to size them down without having them be extremely distorted as the size shrinks (if you have any tips/tutorials pls let me know!) as for the normals, i'm ngl idk how to do that yet without fear of my comp/blender crashing (bc of the hair size) but i do plan on learning and making my own normals. my previous hair was enormous even for my s4s and blender and i really do regret leaving it that large and moving on i will make sure to state the size of the hair when it passes a certain limit. i am still new to making hairs and i don't really understand how to make everything low-poly but still good yet but i will learn and improve! and thank you so much for liking my work!

Camp Gibbi Gibbi 🌲 (cc-free)

so ever since I saw this mod I was like YES 'cause I really wanted a campground surrounded by tall pines and all the spooky vibes that come with that!

and also I needed a place for my teen sims to go camping so here's this camp gibbi gibbi version that is like a run down, low-key abandoned camping spot (I didn't really place any child-friendly activities 'cause I had teens and adults in mind mainly) but it's like this place that sits in the forest and doesn't have many visitors 🌲

I've been playing the quarry and watching wayward so that's where the inspo came from! 🎧

there is an abandoned boat house and a ranger's house (with a kitchen and a bathroom and beds) and a few picnic areas and quite a few tents for your sims to enjoy! also you can set the lot challenge as 'spooky' if you want some extra fun for your teens 👻
