Rocket to the Moon v.2.0! I properly tiled the earlier Rocket to the Moon design and added some sweet 1960s elements. Iâm much happier with it now. For the moment itâs just in blue but Iâd love some suggestions on other colours it could work in!

Yes, episode one is DONE. Recorded, edited, and exported ready for upload. I need to put together a cover image and set up the iTunes account etc, but I plan to be uploading either tomorrow evening or sometime Sunday.
I have also recorded the I Think We Got Lost mini-episode so that will be going up at the same time.
...Retail Therapy?
I just ordered a new mic for recording. it was on special and I was weak. The first episode will be recorded on my laptopâs mic because darn it Iâm not re-recording it for a fourth time xD
Update: 12 April 2018
The recording is taking all the time. Who knew? Iâve re-recorded now three times to get the sound right, but itâs going well. Today Iâm taking the day off to deals with tech issues â my beloved phone crashed hard this morning forcing me to sink a few hours into getting her running again. And because Iâm now paranoid I am backup my laptop too. Better safe than sorry.
Iâll be back at it again tomorrow and all going well should be uploading this weekend! Hopefully, once Iâve worked out the writing and recording process for this episode the other ones will come easier in future.
In other news! Iâm also making plans for two other mini-podfics.
The first will be a post-show mini-series to accompany WWoDC episodes âit will be called I Think We Got Lost. Iâll probably include it as a subscription perk on Patreon ($3+ contributors) :)
The second is a brief series probably called Watching My Way to Disney World, in which I will be watching my way through the last 7 decades of Disney films to prepare for my vacation at WDW. The first episode will be on Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Both will be pretty casual affairs, brief recording with minimal editing.
Iâll also be uploading to $3+ Patreon an edited copy of my 1950s Disneyland essay I wrote last year that got me into Disney history.

Recording - Episode #1
I began recording the first episode for the podcast! Iâll hopefully get all the audio down tomorrow and begin editing :D Depending on how long editing takes I should have it up on iTunes sometime this coming week. In the lead up I will also be posting some accompanying images to the Tumblr so watch out for those as well!
The episode will be on the events of Disneylandâs 1955 Opening Day, also known as âBlack Sundayâ.
