Dreams do come true. After five incredible and crazy years, One Direction finally had their first ever concert (probably not the last) here in MANILA, PH. *breathe in, breathe out* Again, MANILA. I still can’t believe it happened. I saw them. I watched them live. I heard them. I died. PCD is still striking me. So hard. Very hard. 4/5 are LEGENDS.
Last May 2014, it was announces that Manilla is part of the otrat leg then after a week, the ticket selling started. It was the hardest thing I encountered as a fangirl. I didn’t save enough money for the tickets and I regret it. The day of the ticket selling, I was at home crying, tweeting, calling my friend, begging my dad and hyperventilating…until I knew tickets tickets were sold in less than 24 hours. It was crazy. I actually came with an idea of joining promos or maybe I could just wait them at the aiport or hotel. (CRAZY!) Good thing, they announced that they’re going to have a concert here for two nights. Tickets for the second day *second chance* was sold after a month. So I had the opportunity to sell my kidneys and work for something *just kidding* I mean to save.
It was the month of July when my friend bought our tickets . It was another hard decision. It was a battle between gold and titanium tickets. Money is so tight, I know. I wanted VIP, of course,, who doesn’t want VIP? NO ONE. Lol. We aimed for the titanium section but her mom refused it so we ended with gold tix. I realized that it doesn’t matter what section you are, the most important thing
1) You’re there to support them 2) You waited it for so long. TAKE THE CHANCE. 3) The experience 4) Their songs 5) Live voices, oh gosh, the accent. 6) meet new friends 7) to enjoy, duh, 8) The boys 9) again the boys 10) the boys….
(March 22), I woke up early. IT WAS THE DAY. THAT WAS IT. We went to the concert grounds at exactly 10 am and arrived there by 11:30 am. While I was walking through the mall, 1D was on loop! They’re playing every 1D song and I wanted to shout at my friend's face. HAHA. At exactly 12 noon, I lined up for gold section. Then, I met this adorable directioners So we talked about the boys and they love them as much as I do. We waited for like 9 hours but everything was worth it. It was worth the wait. Even thought I got tan lines. It was hot but it didn’t matter. The gates opened at 4 pm and everyone is running through the line shouting, screaming and yelling #WEWANTZAYN #1D at top of our lungs. When we got into the concert grounds we immediately look for the best seats and to chill ourselves, we took selfies and watched some introduction videos of 5 seconds of summer, Little Mix, Olly murs, Penshoppe and a lot more.
At exactly 7 pm, the opening act started. It was a total rave with DJ KC. We danced, sang and scream while raining. It was raining af! Haha. So we’re all wet. The concert started 9pm….agdysagfdasyfashufhaufhfu I CAN’T EXPLAIN THE FEELING WHEN THEY STARTED PLAYING THEIR INTRODUCTION VIDEO, WE STAND ON OUR CHAIRS UNTIL CLOUDS STARTED PLAYING “OMFG!!” HARRY CAME OUT OF THE STAGE. MY BABY!!! OMG. During clouds, I fell on my chair, seriously while waving my hands I sang every part of the song. I shouted “ I LOVE YOU” for 98569584 times. I lost my voice. I lost myself that night. The setlist includes, Clouds, Steal my girl, Little Black Dress, Where do broken hearts go, Midnight Memories, Kiss you, Stockholm syndrome, Ready to Run, Strong, Better than Words, Don’t Forget where you belong, Night Changes, Little Things, Alive, Diana, What makes you beautiful, through the dark, Story of my life, You & I, Little White Lies, Girl Almighty, One Thing and Best song ever. (I’m not sure if I forgot some) EVERY SONG WAS PERFECT. EVERY SONG WAS A BEST EXPERIENCE. EVERY SONG I CRIED. EVERY SONG I DIDN’T BREATHE PROPERLY. EVERY SONG I DIED. I CAN’T BELIEVE IT. DREAMS ARE REAL. I’M NOT OKAY. I HOPE THEY WILL COME BACK HERE.
They ended the concert with Best song ever and with amazing fireworks. We went home by 11:30 pm and thanked God for the wonderful night he gave to us. (WOW) This concert experience was a goal achievement and I’m very very thankful for Harry, Liam, Louis and Niall for that awesome night. Even though, Zayn isn’t a part of 1d already, I still hope for the best and continue as a successful four piece as well as zayn’s own life. And I hope, they will come here in Manila as 5/5 and experience again the best night ever.
I’m so proud that I chose this fandom The Amazayn Directioners) and I’ll never leave them. We will always slay, WE ARE LEGENDS like the boys. We will stay together til the end.
