In addition to Ayla’s ongoing health struggles, she now has to worry about rats and insects. Recently Gaza has become overwhelmed by vermin, which carry diseases and will even bite or eat human flesh. Unfortunately, the only solution available to families is to deploy pesticides around the living space. However, pesticides are difficult to obtain and therefore very expensive in Gaza, about $850 usd for the amount Ayla’s mother Bshaer needs for their living space. Bshaer needs your help to procure this unfortunate but very necessary item, as the only alternative is the increased likelihood of bites and diseases.

There has been no progress on their campaign in several days, and on top of this expense, they still need to treat Ayla gastroenteritis. They are in a really, really tough place right now and they need your help!

If you aren't already aware, the USA successfully exported homomisia to many African countries through its imperialist domination, resulting in being gay and/or trans being punishable by imprisonment and/or death in many African countries. Refugees have had to flee active genocides occurring throughout Africa, and LGBTQ+ comrades even more so as they flee one genocide while still struggling to leave another.

Some of these LGBTQ+ comrades have ended up in Gorom Refugee Camp, which not only itself needs economic aid, but especially so for their LGBTQ+ refugees, who receive zero protection from homomisian and transmisian violence.

Starvation and diseases like HIV and malaria run rampant through Gorom Refugee Camp, and these people aren't safe right now. Comrade Abdul has set up a campaign specifically dedicated to these LGBTQ+ refugees in Gorom Refugee Camp, doing what they can to help them survive and eventually escape the camp.

Since the war on Gaza began on 10/7/2023, my family and my siblings - have been living in constant fear, crying and suffering because of shrapnel, shells and bullets. We have no food🥘🌯

. My school was bombed, and my sister Nour's university was turned into rubble, which deprived us all of education. The war forced us to live in displacement centers, which are just tents that are not suitable for living

, especially in winter. Every day we live death, terror and panic a thousand times because of the continuous bombing of my city. The war has killed more than 50 of my relatives and neighbors. At the beginning of the war, we took refuge in my aunt's house, but it was also turned into rubble.

We have escaped imminent death more than 20 times,

and have been displaced between shelters more than 13 times. My brothers and I have suffered from many diseases due to malnutrition, and we need medicine constantly. If we stay in Gaza, we may lose our lives. Recently, we have been seriously considering leaving Gaza to a safe place. However, the travel costs are very high. We need more than 70 thousand dollars to leave Gaza. Due to the exorbitant prices, rampant unemployment, insecurity, the ongoing blockade, and the continuous bombing, we have lost all our money. How can we live in such insecurity💔🙏, with the constant bombing and shrapnel flying above us? When they took my mother into the operating room, l felt like I couldn't breathe. I kept praying that l would see her alive again. By God's mercy, she survived the surgery, and I will never forget the people who stood beside us and helped us reach that moment 🙏

But our journey is not over yet. She is still in the hospital under close medical observation, and we still need $700 to cover her remaining hospital bills.. medications, and treatment 💔

What hurts me the most is that for two full days, not a single donation has come. I keep opening the fundraiser every few minutes, hoping to see even one small contribution, hoping to feel that someone still hears us. Every time I see the number unchanged, I feel my heart sink a little more 😔

Bshaer and Ayla have had a horrible few months. After finding a shell of a building in which to shelter from the elements, it was destroyed by IOF bombing. They are once again out of the street, and the extreme stress and exposure to filth has plagued Ayla with diarrhea. She is dehydrated and extremely weak, exacerbated by record-breaking heat.

This ulcer has gone untreated in order to allot more funds for Nour’s ongoing nebulizer treatments, but it has progressed to the point of literally debilitating pain and serious complications.
