It’s really funny doing the starting paladin quests post arr. My guy is captain of sultansworn, doing research into a conspiracy and he never bothers to look into the adventurer he is teaching to be a paladin. I’m friends with the sultana, the warrior of light, you would think he would recognize me. I would love to have seen the debrief after he attacks us. “Yes, your Grace, I did attack and accuse your friend, the warrior of light, of working for the monetarist. I know the monetarist framed them for your assassination and have always worked for the good of the realm. But you see, I didn’t realize who they were. They did tell me their name and weren’t trying to hide or anything, I just didn’t realize.”

I can’t believe they named the achievement for beating A Realm Reborn “His left arm.” It’s mean :(

When I first heard the in game reason for the pvp battles in ffxiv I thought it was kinda stupid. All three city states are saying how they have too many problems and not enough people and here they are, having a pseudo war over some ancient ruins. I wondered why they didn’t just pool their scholars together and share the info. Then I learned that Omega was in the ruins and it suddenly wasn’t so dumb anymore. I think Alphinaud and I had the same reaction to that revelation.
