He shifted from foot to foot, trying to decipher what might be wrong. He didn’t really know too much about girls, considering he wasn’t a girl and he knew very few. His mother never really taught him too much about it either. They were an enigma to him, and Annie even more so than the rest.
"Well, if you really say so." That didn’t stop him from worrying, watching her as they both walked. He just wanted to help.
"I do."
After that, she became quiet, walking steadfast and eyes ahead, bouncing from person to person in quiet observation. Swallowing, as if to rid herself of pain not in her throat, she pulled her cloak in tighter, frowning as a flurry of particularly chilled air wafted her way.
"Could you stop looking at me. It's annoying."
