Our fur child and best friend Tessa passed away yesterday. I’ll miss having her guide me through life with her fun loving spirit and zest for adventure. Everyone she met loved her - even people that don’t like dogs (it honestly happened a lot 😇)... The pain of loss is real but I find comfort in the countless memories. Her last night with us was amazing. We did one last walk around the neighborhood and she looked like her young self again. Checking out every little sound and movement like nothing in the world could stop her. We got back and snuggled on the couch before heading up to bed for the last time. She died sometime between her being in my arms as I took her to the car and when we arrived at the emergency vet clinic at about 5 am January 30, 2021. A piece of my heart will always be Tessa’s. Love you girl.

These are some smart monkeys. Apparently they observed humans soaking it up in the onsens and decided to give it a try themselves! Now they come back everyday on their own free will to relax, play, and eat food.
