Woad

Concept art for Ballgare, a character from my fantasy work-in-progress novel. I am not great at dark shadowy images, so it was also a practice of that.

Heafieon did not get a separate close up like the rest because he looks a little awkward still.

I might change her hair and clothes colors later, but it is good enough for now. :) I also think this is my first time drawing full armour, so I apologize for any mistakes I may have made.

I'm moving Solicia from Woad to her own novel "Wishes on the Wind." She just was not working with the plot as I wanted her to, so now she can be the main character of her own story.

I might change his clothes a little bit later to make them suit him a better...

Meet, Fynlan. He's a bit of a dorky criminal, but if you can befriend him(before he steals your money and runs) he is really loyal. He's one of the main characters of Woad, and is really fun to write.

I just finish my daily WC, so I am taking a break by drawing my assassin, Heafieon, in scribble type sketches with lazy color.

I am going to be writing my novel Woad for NaNoWriMo, so I have to get all my characters carefully thought out. For some reason, drawing really helps with that for me, so I drew this. This is my character named “Heafieon.” He is an assassin who is rarely seen without a mask.

This is just a random drawing of my character “Antiiss.” This is a scene from the novel I am currently writing. I just wanted to draw it out to help myself picture it a little better.

My art is still not amazing, and I have a lot to improve on still, but I am still improving, and that’s what makes me happy. : )

EDIT: I added another drawing I did right after(on the right) with Antiiss and Heafieon.

This is actually a mix between a bearded vulture, a raven, and a greater racket-tailed drongo.
