I've wanted to make DJ of the Month Articles a regular feature on the blog, but often the DJ is someone I - the Webmaster - don't know very well, so it makes it hard to write. But this month's DJ of the Month is ME! Yes, the humble Webmaster, also known as DJ Izzy. So what better time to inaugurate this feature than now?

Alright cheesy poems aside, Webmaster here! I make a spreadsheet of all the new music I get in the semester, so here's the albums I got and played on the show in Fall 2014! The albums are ranked with a math formula I developed. The albums with color ranks I will write reviews of as well. You might've already seen many of these albums on the new shelf this year, but I'm sure there's some you haven't listened to. Give it a look! Happy holidays!

WMXM Radio is hosting Still Frames, Arkham, I Made You Myself, and The Cheyenne Line on Saturday, December 6. The show will be located in Woody's Lounge on Lake Forest College's campus.

Knuckle's Puck new album While I Stay Secluded is not something to pass over just because it is an EP. The album is filled with the exact sort of bouncy and fun instrumentals while still throwing angsty and enraged lyrics in your face. This young band is showing they got the chops to stand big name pop-punk bands such as The Wonder Years, Neck Deep, and The Story so Far while allowing plenty of room for growth. The only downside is that there are only six songs rather than enough for it to be a full length. With that being said, I am looking forward to whatever their next project is and can't wait.
