It's totally normal for Robin to change her style if she wants to. Give Robin Buckley more love and respect!!!!

everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and i’m happy for you that you liked the epilogue.

but butchfemme dynamics are a lot deeper than just style, and i think a lot of robin’s personality traits align with butchness. i think it makes a lot more sense that, once she’s away from the homophobic small town she grew up in, she would explore this more and her style would in turn become more masculine.

The relief being palpable as the group rushes towards them, so so happy, hugging them and checking them over, patting them on the back because their part of the plan succeeded even if it didn’t go exactly as they planned (But is it even a Stobin side quest if it doesn’t end in fire and explosions?)

Vickie, who spent the last hour not knowing if the girl she loved was dead, has to shove through the crowd to get to her.

But before she gets there she sees Nancy just throwing herself into Robin’s arms, literally trembling with how terrified she had been, trying to hide the fact that she’s crying tears of relief into Robin’s shoulder, holding onto her like she’s afraid she’ll disappear into thin air.

And Robin’s arms are so tight around her, practically lifting her off the ground as she whispers reassurances and jokes to try and make her laugh, hands clenched in the fabric of her jacket. And when Nancy finally lets go of her, they’re both just staring at each other with something so deep behind their eyes.

And it takes a second before Robin finally forces her hands off of Nancy and walks over to wrap Vickie in her arms instead, Nancy staring after her the entire time.

And Vickie feels sick even as she sinks into her girlfriend’s arms, even as she kisses her, because she feels Nancy’s gaze on them and she knows, even if Robin and Nancy themselves don’t.
