      “You little shit.” Erik’ll ruffle up the other’s hair just to get a laugh out of Gio, “I haven’t been around in how many weeks, and you just greet me like this?”

                                          “Well, I thought this was the perfect way to greet you! Is it not?” Oh, now he’s pouting. What a brat.

     “Mon dieu…!” He’ll just pap Gio right on the head. “I’m sitting here, Giovanni!” 

                                          “Yeah, I know you are.” He bounced in the other’s lap, look at that grin. What a brat.

                This joke would be so worth it if he could manage to get a free meal, but when he found out he COULDN’T, his entire expression faltered. Hikaru inclined forward, sniffing the other. “Aww…. but i’m so HUNGRY. You smell really good still, are you really going to let me starve?!”

                                           Okay, scary again! Giovani backed away, crossing his arms in an attempt to seem intimidating. “Can’t you pay for your own food? What, you expect me to pay for it just because you’re some scary vampire?” On the inside, he was heart was doing jumping jacks, and that was probably evident by the way his forehead began to collect sweat. 

     Just…sits down.

                                           Just...sits down. Right on top of Erik. 

           “Hmm, I’d say you’re more of a beginner poet, but…” A kiss            was pressed to the wizard’s cheek all the same. 

                                        “This is modern poetry. Things don’t have to rhyme, exactly. It’s more of the feeling behind it.” He grinned at the kiss. “Roses are red, violets are blue, I’m terrible at poetry but I really like you~”

              Garlic? He chuckled, because that’s a vampire myth that literally had no affect on him. It was funny watching people throw it at him like it was supposed to do something. "I’m fond of garlic honestly, I been to Italy a few times and all their pasta is chock full of the stuff~ Combined with oregano, mm…. you should buy me dinner, since you won’t let me have a nibble.“

                                          When it seemed that the other wasn’t advancing towards him, Gio relaxed a bit, shoulders slumping. He frowned, so what his parents told him was all lies? “See, I would buy you dinner but...I don’t have any money.” That was a little lie, since he had about five dollars and a piece of gum in his pocket, but oh well. 

                This guy has amusing reactions, he liked this guy - he wanted to play with him some more. A low hum left him, rubbing his cheek in thought than grinned wider. "Awww, but you smell so good - I might just want to have a NIBBLE. Especially because of Poptarts, those are my favorite~“

                                         Of course! Everyone loves Poptarts--why would he say that? Stupid, stupid, stupid. “Ah, did I say Poptarts? I mean garlic. Whoops, those two words really confuse me sometimes. They sound so similar.” Okay, nice save. 

         “How ‘bout you tell me some more mister double          whammy?”

                                    “A-ah...I hadn’t thought that far ahead.” He worried at his bottom lip. “Roses are red...violets are blue...kiss me because I’m cute?” Weak.

                  A small grin formed across his lips, pushing up his frames as he found their reaction amusing. “Well, i’m a vampire. I’m technically undead so I find it funny… ahaha." He wasn’t even trying to make the other go into a state of distress but there it was.

                                       He really didn’t like this person! Gio mentally placed them in the box in his brain labeled “meanies”. The wizard jumped back, gasping as he did so. “Ah! Please don’t eat me. I promise my blood won’t taste very good. I’ve been eating Poptarts for three days straight!”

           “I didn’t, only thought you were a wizard~”

                                  “I’m both. It’s what I think people call a ‘double whammy’ or something like that.” 

                 Where they that IGNORANT or perhaps dark humor wasn’t commonly used nowadays. He blinks, tilting his head in an almost curious way. “Morbid humor…. kinda like stuff relating to death or something just as bad.”

                                     He sniffed, raising his eyebrows in shocked horror. “W-why would you joke about that stuff? What’s funny about death?” He really doesn’t get it--ah, he’s been confused ever since he started talking to this person! He wants to rip at his hair. 

                “You don’t have to understand, don’t worry about it." It was just words, so he didn’t want anyone to stress out over them after all. "Uh… I’m no good with ‘em but I like dark humor, so if you know anything like that you can always toss it my way.”

                                   He pouted, even if he didn’t need to understand, he would still like to. Deciding to drop it so as not to seem annoying, he scratched at the crown of head. “Um, what’s dark humor?” 

                 "I honestly don’t know.“ Might as well keep it vague and NOT straight to the point whatsoever. Plus he couldn’t break it to the other that his joke wasn’t funny. Or at least to him. "It was… decent.”

                                “That’s confusing.” He whined, pressing a hand to his forehead. He hated when people weren’t direct, it was hard to understand. “My joke was decent? What kind of jokes do you like, then? Tell me one.” 

                                “Are you being sarcastic?” He frowned, he couldn’t exactly tell if the other was genuinely amused or just being rude, but he found that when things were phrased such as that, it was the latter. 

Oh man is he relieved. It’s a human thing! Teagan’s always been a little self-conscious about his body and the way he moves, having been raised on a planet with giant, graceful aliens of pure muscle. So it’s super refreshing to know there’s nothing wrong with him. “Yeah, something like that.” 

                               He smiled at that, not saying anything else on the matter--it seemed he cheered Tea up a bit, which made the wizard feel good about himself. Scratching at his head for a moment, he kicked out his foot. “So, um...what’s your favorite animal?” Lame, he knows, but silence has never been his favorite.
