     With a sharp yelp of surprise, he crashed down onto the mattress. However, it quickly melted into soft, satisfied laughter as he stroked Viv’s hair. It was nice to see her again, to hold her. It felt right.

     He had seen plenty of Shadow Pokemon over the years, but none where their physical appearance had been altered. Having never had the misfortune of seeing dark auras like poor Rui, Mark was taken aback to witness the damage of Shadowification in a visual form. He was appalled, but with some effort, kept a straight face.

ANYWAY, I’m still a little busy, but I miss this place, and I miss all of you. Obviously this means it’s time to come off hiatus, whether I have work to do or not.

For all my lovely new followers, here’s a brief list of things that might be mildly confusing about my blog/interpretation, but I swear make some sense:

my main verse is two years post-Colosseum, but I do have a mid-Colosseum verse

I go between calling Wes “Wes” (derived from his surname, Wesley) and “Mark.” The reason for this is that, in some verses, he’s deliberately avoiding being associated with his past as the legendary Snagger. Don’t worry too much about which is which. Call him whatever you like!

I have like... four?? faceclaims for Mark/Wes depending on verse. I went overboard. I don’t know why. They’re all supposed to be the same character I swear

Mark’s parents and some members of Team Snagem appear as guest muses here. Each have their own tag, so you can blacklist those threads/asks if you like.

     He wasn’t about to say it, but he was thankful for the company. This was a hard time of year for a guy who wasn’t sure if his dad was dead, or if he’d just plain abandoned him. It hurt, same as the year before and the year before that, stretching back as far as Mark could remember.
