[ laugh ] for your muse to laugh at something mine did -> Amandus to Castiel
@withgoodblood
At the moment he sure gave up a quite humorous sight. He could feel some of the flowers that were sticking in and on his hair, with some of them still remaining in his hands. Well...at least Amandus was laughing! âGood to see it made you feel better, even if I hadnât intended it to end up like this.â He had been a tad unlucky when approaching him today and actually managed to trip over in the probably most stupid way. Castiel shrugged it of, but kept an abashed grin on his lips while doing so. âUsually they should end up in a vase rather than hair but...this also works I guess.â
For him it was still hard to believe. This was not a fairy tale. Maybe luckily, because otherwise they would have to deal with witches or deceptive fairies. The reality here in town was bad enough. But reality was also Castiel. What a comforting thought. And how relieving the feeling.
When Castiel moved, his first thought was to protect the flowers that he was still holding in his arms. But then he quickly noticed what Castiel wanted. The kiss he had asked for himself.
The second he hesitated, he thought of it the first time he saw this man. And how stupid he was to hide from him. How stupid the fear feels now that he was then.
The rustle of the paper in which the flowers were wrapped rang up to them as they hit the ground. Amandus had preferred to put both arms around Castiel's neck to press more against him. In order to joyfully take away from the delicate, hesitant touch of the lips the uncertainty that they both still carried within themselves. Or at least alleviate these worries a little.

Come what may, we shall live on. We must.
FOURCHENAULT LEVEILLEUR in FINAL FANTASY XIV: ENDWALKER.
đş a white carnation for Castiel
Castiel looks surprised at the flower that was given to him just recently. âIâll value it, thank you. I only wonder what gives me the honor of such a rare gift?â
Amandus hoped that Castiel would not think about his behavior after this explanation. At least he was relieved that he didnât ask any further questions. He could never explain it without revealing that Castiel himself made him nervous.
He found his looks stunning the first time he saw him. This black hair, each little hair shiny like smooth tar. But they had to be soft as feathers, just as they moved smoothly back and forth with every movement.
Amandus raved inwardly when he looked at Castielâs back when he was looking for suitable clothes. How much he would like to touch the hair on the back of his neck. Caress the neck. Maybe he would like this ⌠Amandus winced when Castiel turned to him again. He had to watch what he was thinking.
With a look at the clothes he sighed. Yes, Castiel was a lot bigger and wider. Did he find it strange that he was so thin?
âThank you for putting yourself under such circumstances. Iâm just not⌠like everyoneâŚâ
He said it with a bit of regret and took the things. Then he looked up at the other.
âCould you also have something like a headband for me?â
âOh itâs no bother to me at all- do not think like that, I beg of you. You are my guest for this night. There is no inconvenience coming along with it for me. I am glad if I can provide all you need. As you may imagine I do not have many guests here.â Castiel reassured him. With the little space he had here it was hard to host anyone after all. That Amandus was now here was almost a miracle. âMhmmâŚ.â It came thoughtful from him. âA headband you say⌠Nothing I use exactly. My hair is much too short for it.â He pulled at one of his own strains and looked around in his room. Maybe something similiar⌠âWould a simple ribbon band do the same job? Or woudl that be unpractical?â Since his colleague Maha had just headed out he couldnât just ask him either. He probably had more headbands than he would ever own⌠But he also had the hair length for it. Castiel never had longer hair, at least not longer than they were right now. Not even as a young lad if he recalled right.
âAlso⌠I donât think being different is something bad either. Weâre all different in a way. It only makes us who we are. If you ask me at least.â The executioner shrugged a little. âIt would be boring if we were all equal. All tall or small, thin or thick.â He stroke his beard lightly. âNot even twins are completely alike, or are they? Lookwise maybe, but by personality- thatâs something else.â
For him it was normal to have a band for his hair. To assume it would be the same with every other person, was probably a bit short thinking.
He smiled and shook his head. "No, a ribbon is fine too!" Â
He was used to tying his hair up at night in order to avoid unpleasant surprises the next morning. But when Castiel was looking for the ribbon, he wondered if he should do it. He was reluctant to show him the ugly scar on his eye. Or the eye in general, which no longer existed. He put his fingers under the head of hair that fell over his right face and felt the uneven skin of the scar that ended on his cheek. He had gotten used to the sight, but he had often wished that this thing wasn't there. He sighed a little sadly before Castiel interrupted his thoughts. Luckily. Otherwise he would have drifted back into thoughts that would be unhealthy. The sound that Castiel's beard made when he stroked it made Amandus smile. Still, he looked sideways to hide his eye.
"I think twins are a special case. There are twins who are the same in everything. But there are also some who couldn't be more different. That only makes them special, but not... different..."
He shook his head. It wasnât the time to start something like that. Castiel already had sufficient circumstances to comfort him. He wanted to get to know Castiel and not just talk about himself and his problems. In the end he would still think he was a wimp ...
"Ah... do you have the ribbon?", he asked to distract from the situation.
A mason jar stood on one of the few free window sills in the long hallway of the clinic. Noticeably polished and green, from the grass in it. a folded piece of paper hung from a ribbon. With a conspicuously twisted B, the name Bernstein in blue ink on the front. When you opened the note, you found the following words: The lady in the red dress is lucky if she stays for a while. Send her home, give her a kiss. Luck will accompany you, in number of dots on the lady's shoe.
A very nice poemâŚyet Aleksandr was none the wise from whom this came. It had appeared in his clinic before he had came to visit this day. And none could tell him who it left there either. The handwriting was very remarkable however. Many people knew him by the title of âFather Bernsteinâ so it was hard to enclose the list of possible gifters. âMhmmâŚ.â it came in a thinking tone from him as he once more read through the sentences with care.âThe lady in redâŚthe number of dots on her shoeâŚâ No he couldnât recall having heard this before.
âMir helfen?â He looked at the other, blinking for a moment. âA nobele offer- but I could hardly ask of you to take so much time off to simply help improve my daily routine. Even if Iâd allow myself such luxury- for which Iâd honestly only feel bad myself to steal what is very precious time.â Yharnam was no small place and he had to get everywhere by foot. Which meant to rise up early to get to every place he needed ot be. âZeit ist kostbar.â A schedule helped him with everything every week. When he needed to get supplies, when medicine for the others were needed. Everything followed a certain way of planing he had made up ove rthe years to optimise everything. âIt might be more complicated than you think.â Aleksandr continued, yet still with a smile. âIf your words were genuineâŚ. Iâd be delighted to get to know you more. After all you did to see me in the first place- here of all places it could have been.â He thoguth for a moment. With Colias beign here for the first time he probably did not know what Aleksandr was doing most of the day, or dealing with. âI hope youâre aware of my work?â The pater then asked directly. âI wouldnât want it to become too mch for you. To be honest it is a lot you might not know yet.â It would be hard to find time for many outsideâŚso that could prove a problem.
That language again. Blinking irritated, Colias tilted his head and maybe looked like a puppy that does not know the noise its owner is making. But what he understood made him feel disappointed. He had enough time. The schools were closed and the choir had no new assignments for him. What should he do with his time if he couldn't work? On the other hand, it was probably lucky that he had so much time. How else could he have paid his respects to Aleksandr so easily?
Then Aleksandr do seemed to agree and his eyes cleared up in a smile. He didn't know exactly what was being done here, he just saw that all kinds of people came to this clinic. "I c-can le-arn!" Said Colias. "I've s-seen hu-nters c-come here. Also in-injured sometimes. I'm not a he-aler, b-but my kn-knowledge of fo-..rensics c-cert-ainly h-helps to t-treat pe-ople!"  He wasn't sure if that was a good incentive to keep welcoming him here, but there was still more to offer. After all, he walked well and knew the streets like the back of his hand. "I-if that's n-not en-ough, I-i c-can just r-un er-rands. Th-then yo-u don't ha-ve to walk a-a-round in t-own so m-uch. I-i also ha-ve a bike!"

Castiel shrugged it of, but kept an abashed grin on his lips while doing so. âUsually they should end up in a vase rather than hair but...this also works I guess.â
The dark haired kept him in this embrace and he felt the other nuzzle into his clothes in a soft manner. It seemed that relief had now taken place where most of his fear had been earlier when they had met. He couldnât know how it would go when he brought the flowers- and for a moment he had thought them to be lost even as he stumbled, but gladly they take it better than expected.
When Amandus looked up again Castiel greeted his gaze with a smile. âYou neednât ask for permission.â He replied. âYou may of course.â
Nervously, his hand grabbed the solid fabric on Castiel's shoulders every now and then. He was still looking at the taller curiously, perhaps expectantly. When Castiel answered, his cheeks just got redder. He would be allowed to kiss him. How many times he had imagined it. It was already better than he thought, Castiel was just hugging him. And now a kiss as well? The thought made him nervous and embarrassed, so he lowered his gaze a little.
"I'm sorry ..." he said softly. "I have thought so often of what it would be like... and now I do not dare..."
A gentle smile lay on his lips.
"I always thought how beautiful the fairy tale could be in which things like this could happen..."
Colias nodded with a grin. If these hunters knew he was free to enter this building, it would make things a lot easier. Maybe he didnât have to come by every day for weeks to hope for a good mood that let him in.  He looked at the priest, who seemed to be looking at the glass thoughtfully. He couldnât tell whether he had said something strange or something understandable. When he himself often tended to think that he was talking strange things sometimes. Simply because he had been told enough times that it was. Often he was only telling the truth. Or at least what appeared to be truth to him at the moment.  His grip on Aleksandrâs hands tightened as he mentioned his leg. He had seen him hobble often enough, but why that was the case made him curious. âH-how l-ong has your l-eg been l-like this?â He asked straight out. âAre the b-beasts of the night to bl-ame? A-are you in b-ad pain?â
Aleksandr simply shook his head with a smile on his lips. âNo beasts to blame for it, no! Itâs something I have since birth. A small defect if you will. I can not bend it a lot and it is rather stiff compared to my other leg.â The pater then explained. âThe cane helps me much to balance it, even if it can not grant me all freedom of movement. But Iâve come to terms with this state. I am no fighter anyway.â He taped the side of his leg lightly as he said this. âIt pains me only if I stand for far too long or try to move it beyond my comfort. No need to worry now however.â It was nice of Colias to show his concern and Aleksandr took no offence in being asked abot it directly. It happened more often to him than he could remember, so by now it was an as simple question as for the time or weather outside.
Heâd be lying if he called himself a fighter, after all, he had enough stamina to run. And right now, when it was getting more dangerous on the streets in the evening, it was definitely an advantage to be fast. In contrast to Aleksandr it seemed. Sure, he was definitely anything but a helpless deer, but right now it almost felt like that to Colias. His wide-open brown eyes stared at the older man for a moment. Behind them, his head was seething about whether Aleksandrâs situation could be improved. In his mind, the easiest thing to do would be to just stay here. That way he could get to know him better. And maybe Aleksandr would like him too⌠âI c-an come o-over of-ten t-to help you.â  Why did he say that now on this way? He himself was surprised that his mouth said something other than what he was thinking. But if he was honest, he was a bit afraid for the first time that he would be rejected because of his behavior or his opinion. And it made him nervous when he thought that he might not be welcome here. Still, he had to be sure. And he had to strike while he could. After all, this man only existed once. Thatâs what he was here for, with his little friend in a glass. âT-to get to kn-ow you better! A-and maybe y-ou want t-o get to kn-ow m-me too.â  He put his fingers around the glass. âMaybe... the l-ittle lady ha-has luck f-or b-both of us!â

âSit still, Iâm trying to braid your hair.â - Kai to Maha
Maha grinned.âI know youâre braiding my hair! Youâre pulling hard enough.âStill, he laughed. It seemed that Kai found his shoulder-length hair perfect for a few braids. He twisted his torso slightly to reach with one arm behind him where the otherâs legs were. Easy to reach if you were sitting on the floor and the other was kneeling behind him.âWhat do I get to keep still and you can tie your braids?â He asked while his hand pulled on Kaiâs thigh.
There were no others.  How good that sounded and how many promises it concealed at the same time. How lulling. How warm. He was kissing Kai on the neck when he felt his hands pulling him. For a brief moment he looked into these Blue Eyes. Then he was a little surprised. He hadnât expected Kai to kiss him so easily. Of course, he was not his first, but⌠But for a long time he was not deterred and returned the kiss. Intimate. And a bit challenging when he licked his lips. He hardly managed to keep still. He moved slowly on the young man. A bit unwanted, because he didnât want to go that far yet. But every inch that touched even the slightest bit the other one told him how good he was for him.  After a moment, he released the kiss, sighed, and looked at the young man below him. And before his hands would disappear under Kaiâs top, he preferred to put one on his cheek. âWe should keep more for later. What do you think?â ,he asked smiling.
It felt right to kiss himâŚso that was what he did without any doubt. And the blonde returned the kiss after a brief moment. His hands still lying on Mahaâs cheeks, which he then wrapped around his neck as they deepened their kiss⌠Oh how close they were in this momentâŚ
Kai looked back at him once they stopped, visibly happy, carrying a grin on his lips and nodding as an answer. Going further now wouldnât be right. It was good as it was right now. And Maha was right⌠there was still enough time later. They would have some things to talk about now after all. Or at least he had things in mind he wanted to ask the other⌠How long they might have shared the same thoughts perhaps? And maybe simply hadnât dared to speak it out directly.
When he looked into the happy face of Kai, he had to grin himself. He really didnât make it easy for him not to kiss him any more, not to caress him any more. So that he wouldnât give in to it, he sat up, reaching under Kai to pull him up as well. On his lap. Kai wasnât particularly heavy and he himself had no problem getting him up. With one hand he reached under Kaiâs bum so he wouldnât slip off his legs. âSo are we getting back to your pigtails and the reward for keeping me from moving?â ,he asked, amused. âMaybe you can think of the right reward now!â  He grinned. If Kai didnât know what was dear to him now, he would have to be a little clearer.
Mahaâs question made him chuckle directly. âI will have to start over again with the last one, but I wouldnât mind continuing!â He replied, right now sitting comfortably on the otherâs lap. âIâŚthink I know what you meant now. If that is enough of a reward for you for being so patient!â It had actually been so easyâŚyet he had thought so complicated. But how was he supposed to know beforehand, if no word had been spoken of it? It could have backfired as well had he simply dared⌠âDo you want me to continue them now?â Kai then asked looking at him. He wouldnât mind sitting like this either, if it were only for a couple more minutes.
He looked up at him with a smile. "If you don't go on, I have to go on!" Maha said with a grin. His fingers brushed Kai's bum as he did so. Nothing strong, just enough that he could feel it. "Maybe I have to annoy you a bit so that you can make up your mind~!"  He kissed the corner of Kai's mouth, then his cheek. His lips touched his ear, then his neck. Luring Kai out of his reserve was always cute.

He took a few deep breaths to calm his mind and tears a little. Then he smiled, but was still sure that it was more like an accident. Sighing, he wiped his damp cheek. And still he didn't dare look up at him directly. Castiel was right, it wouldn't make a difference. Even if he was so sure that Castiel preferred women. He even thought for a while that he was married.
He wiped his cheek again with Castiel's handkerchief before he reached over to him a little hesitantly. At chest level, he reached into the sturdy fabric he was wearing. Yes, the dark-haired man really stood there and said that he wanted to be with him. The grip on the fabric tightened before he tugged at it. To bring himself and Castiel closer to each other. To put a kiss on the stubble on Castiel's cheek. Now he looked at him for a moment with wide eyes, his cheeks visibly turning red.
Castiel didnât interfere when Amandus reached for his clothes. He just smiled at him, letting himself calm a little before saying a word. His look changed to a more surprised one as he received the kiss from the blonde. Seeing how surprised Amandus was himself though he had to chuckle lightly. Now it was him that laid his arms around the smaller, pulling him into a soft embrace, lightly stroking his hair. It all still felt unreal in a way, but be knew it was. Very much so now that he was holding the other in his arms.
It had taken him long enough to get what Amandus felt for him. So now knowing how he himself felt, Castiel wanted to waste no time anymore. Too precious was the time they had and much to short such peaceful moments. He would ensure theyâd last as long as it could however.
There are sure to be people who would say he was making too much of a fuss about it. After all, he had already had a couple of partners and had to know how it works. But no comparisons could be made for him. It would rob everyone of their individuality ... wouldn't it be?
When Castiel laughed, he puzzled for a short moment about the reasons. But actually it was unnecessary. Like the worries he had. That he was so closed in his arms he used to nestle his face against the rough fabric on Castiel's chest. Smiling. Laughing softly himself. How beautiful this happiness was. A moment later he looked up again, curious and with an embarrassed flush on his cheeks. His hand slipped on his broad shoulder.
"May I ..." he began, but hesitated briefly. "May I... allow myself to... kiss you proberly?"

Laurence: "My little Lucille. Can you show me something beautiful?"
Lucille was silent for a short while, thinking about what to respond. Something beautifulâŚthis could be anything. Something He would view as beautiful? Or something that was beautiful to her?At first it was hard to say for her. But after a couple thoughts, she knew exactly what.
âYes, I think there is something I can show you. Youâd just have to follow me to the upper parts of the chapel. Once weâre there youâll see.â
@withgoodbloodÂ
There she was again. Her honesty that she could wrap in sweet words. You just had to forgive her. Still, she was right. He felt tired. Not just now, but for quite a while.
He sighed. Shook his head.
"Don't worry, my dear Lucille. I know you're just worried."
Grinning in amusement, he could be heard giggling softly.
"You become more and more like Ludwig if you are not careful. You will still get his high forehead and his bad sense of humor if you continue like this."
